I wouldn't be calling other people a moron bud. He wasn't trying to show out, he just didn't want to go faster than the class allows. This isn't a street race. The goal is to run as close to the allowed time as possible

@@anthonyking4387 Centerville Dragway in Centerville Arkansas. They have a few races a year that pay over 2k. We try to make the 4 hour trip down a few times a year.

@@kenmcguigan6805 I started it a few months back. I just started videoing my runs with my phone to help see what I was doing wrong. I recently purchased the insta360 x3 camera that has, in my opinion, made the videos much better.

@SeanNeuhaus CDRA Bracket Finals are hosted at Mo-Kan Dragway, Asbury Missouri. It used to be a really neat traveling series. It's a track team race. I think there was 8 different tracks there. Had 314 cars on the property.

@BarkerRacing ya we used to go everywhere nhra was maplegrove pa. Ihra was all over bristol,Norwalk,budds creek,Maryland

I actually won 🏆 the race at maplegrove pa. My first full season in brackets it was only high school class but still 1989 u can Google it sean neuhaus nhra

I know several people that have succes leaving in high gear, slows the car down quite a bit but still carries close to normal mph.

Bracket Racing is the most humbling sport, go from a winning streak to just plain awful!

@BarkerRacing I won alot of races some in style some not I spent alot of time on weds night fun nights to find my rhythm for trophy's....remember a dragrace is a dragrace no matter what it's the passion the high of winning it doesn't matter

Yes, I'm using a delay box in top bulb class (super pro, top, box or whatever each track calls it). It's wired with a plug so I can remove it for bottom or footbrake class. I always enter one entry in Top and one in footbrake.

Give my other videos a view to see how I do it each week. They aren't too long and recently bought the 360 degree camera for some pretty cool shots.

It goes by time slips. Thats why he got to leave first and the dragster sat there. It's a hard thing to do to sit and watch someone drive away knowing you have to catch then pass them for the win
