Mysterious Wat Samphran: Uncovering Dragon Temple Secrets
มุมมอง 1523 หลายเดือนก่อน
When you are visiting Bangkok you are probably advised to visit Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Was Arun (Temple of the Dawn), Wat Saket (The Golden Mount) or any other temple but this one. Wat Samphran is one of the most extraordinary temples in Bangkok, Thailand, I but why no tour guides tell you about it? Is it because it is located far away form the city? Or is it because of myste...

First things to DO and KNOW in Bangkok
Great video! I don't think the video was too long, it was very in-depth and insightful. I've read conflicting information online. Since your video is recent, could you please tell me the opening hours and what days we can climb the dragon? Thank you!
Thank you for your comment! It’s open every day 7a to 6p and as far as I know every day you can climb up. Just be sure to check the rain forecast for the next couple of months as it’s already rain season and I’m not sure it’s going to comfortable on top of the temple in case of rain. And make sure to keep some small change for donations. Hope it helps🙏
@@Monkey_Oliver_812 Thank you so much!
🙏
Any snakes or crocodiles here?
Only once I have seen a snake there. No crocs. But definitely a lot of water monitors😂
That's what the Thai people say about her restaurant. The place is famous, but not that the food are that extraordinary. It's just that they use premium ingredients and selling at such high prices that put the place on the headlines (both negatively and positively). I remember it was mostly criticisms at first (for being overpriced), so the rich Thai people started eating there to show off their richness or whatever, and that made the foreigners start mistaking it as a yummy restaurant.
I don’t think that rich Thai people eating here are the reason. All my friends think this place is a must-visit because of Netflix. But they definitely get a lot of famous Thai people there. They even can get a table on time without waiting in line for half of day.
Don't have to be polite. Just say it. It's a TOURIST TRAP!
Thank you for the comment. You are right.
Not worth it all.. taste suck
Thank you for your comment. I can’t say taste is too bad, just too basic
Great example of waiting list marketing. Respect that you have made it. I would have been going home.
Thank you for the comment. Hah I waited all that time so other people don’t have to😂
Her hustle is strong. No way any omelette is worth 1400 THB.
It's actually 1600 thb now haha. Asked 3 different couples how the food was, all of them shrugged and said "well, it was for the experience.." their disappointed looks said it all. Thankfully we skipped the wait and had a great meal next door...
Very nice just what I was looking for before I decide to go.
Thank you for your comment! I’m glad my video helped🙏
I love you welcome Thailand
Thank you 🙏
This is the first lottery video I've ever seen. Different! haha
Thank you for your comment🙏 Different good or different bad?😂
@@Monkey_Oliver_812 I like it. Sorry you didn't win the lottery.
❤❤
Thank you🙏
Thanks for sharing. I have been to Thailand many times and was intrigued to go here but now you have shared I definitely won't bother going. There are many other hard-working Thai chefs and amazing family-run restaurants that represent much better value than this. Seek and you will find !!
Thank you for your comment! If you check the comments on this post there are some recommendations on places that have similar menus. Even the crab omelet. And aren't overpriced and overcrowded:)
Didn’t expect Bankog to be that good 😮
It is THAT GOOD indeed. You should come here:)
It sure had a lot of fucking smogs to
The warehouse that you say resembles a military camp was formerly a storage area for tobacco leaves from a government cigarette factory.😊
Thank you for the input! I didn’t know that. I knew that initially the land was owned by a tobacco company, but had no idea those were storage buildings☺️ But they share look like army barracks😂
It's hot during the day and the owners bring their dogs to exercise in the evening.😊🤗🐕🦮🐕🦺🐩
Beautiful parks 😮🤗😊👍🎊🎉
They are! Thank you🙏
You say some things are scary and you make an intriguing intro, but you don’t look scared at all. And you sound like a boring tour guide😂
Thank you for the comment! I’m sorry. I will try to improve over time🙏
Finally your links are working🎉
А кепка зачет!😂
Thank you!)
Очень затянуто. Можно было покороче.
Согласен. Буду исправляться🙏
I am from Thailand😊😊
You're welcome
Hello 👋
Hello 👋
Nice, very interesting
Thank you🙏 Appreciate it
Benjakitti park is the best one. Have you ever try Wachirabenchathat Park (Rot Fai Park)? This is also nice park.
Thank you for the comment! Yes, I have been there. If you look at the intro again there is footage from it😉 But I would say my second favorite is Queen Sirikit Park. Rot Fai is a bit under-maintained and old.
I need rose gardens or rose flowers Art at Benjakitti park ? British Embassy or Netherland Embassy please donate budget for rose garden at Benjakitti park for our good relationship ? Because Thailand imported a lot of tulip flowers from their countries to Bangkok flowers store.
A rose garden would really be nice. But I think installing some art would be much better. After all the park already has a lot of different plants.
@@Monkey_Oliver_812 some corners of park you can design rose flowers arch too.
Hey Monkey thanks for sharing it makes my decision easier!!! I won’t wait any longer than 1 hour to eat anywhere in the world for anything. Might be worth dropping by to get some pics and videos. 😂
Thank you! Monkey Oliver at your service XD Check the comment from @kmfa3842 There are some places, that have most of the dishes that Jay Fai has, but at 30 percent of the price and probably without any queues. I haven't tried them, but I definitely will in next couple of days. But pictures on Google look promising.
😍Nice atmosphere! 😘💕Thank you for taking us along with you!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it☺️
I find Jay Fai is mainly for tourist. Try Nong Rim Klong or Hear Hai which located near you and don’t have to wait hours. And tell us know what you think compare to Jay Fai. 😊
Thank you🙏 That’s the best comment yet! I looked at the menu online and now I genuinely want to go there. Thanks for the recommendation
It's not maintained well......no wonder so many monitor lizard and snakes. They can do better than this.
Thank you for the comment! Are lizards that bad? I think it is one of the things that distinguishes Bangkok parks. I see a lot of people coming especially to see monitors and take pictures😂
I don’t think this video really shows why people should visit this park. Probably should’ve spent less time on yourself and work more on the picture…
Thank you for the feedback. Sorry this video didn’t meet your expectations. I’ll improve🙏
What time was this video taken at Benjakitti Park? The exercise instruction was about jumping logs, which was not related to the parallel rails equipment. That's Thailand!
Same question. How is this thumbstone about log jumping connected to the monkey bars? Doesn’t make people life easier😂
It’s around midday. Thank you for the explanation. But why is that poster there?😂
@@Monkey_Oliver_812 I have no clue. Probably the parallel rails equipment replaced the logs, but the instruction didn't get updated.
Let’s have a walk there together ❤
Thank you for your comment! I’ll take your offer into consideration)
Just like most places that become popular from tv shows or celebrity eaters, they are almost always overrated.
Probably Netflix makes anything it touches worse. Or just sets our expectations too high.
Those are practical tips. It's so true about acting to cross the street. Funny!
Thank you for the comment🙏
I agree with you! I was there in september 2023. We waited in line for 5 hours… 5! What a waste of time - And the crabomelet have not much taste… I do not understand the hype 🤦🏼♂️
Thank you! Hah that’s exactly my point here. But, thank god, I at least managed to wait for the food a little less than 3 hours) Still too much though.
Spending 5 hours for anything is never worth it
How about spending 5 hours on self-education? That seems worth it 😎
@@Monkey_Oliver_812 i should have clarified, spending 5hrs in line for food is never worth it, unless if you were dead broke, starving, and they were giving away food
Hah. That seems more realistic XD
As a thai.....my family eating sometime chez Jae Fai... More than 20 years ago...! Especially my mom...she love there.😢 But... In my opinion..... it's nothing spacial😢 it's expensive & pricey ( ok.. quality was good) Since ....she is famous and get Michelin star...we never go again.... Now today....many many restaurants offer same things...same quality ..but...much more cheaper 😅 And again as a thai...😅 We can Cooking at home much more delicious & better...😂😂😂
Thanks for your comment🙏! Yes, you are 100% right. There is much better and more tasty Thai food than Jay Fai. And Thai home cooking I never tried, hopefully one day)
Very nice place, thanks for wonderful tour, enjoy my new friend
Thank you for your comment! :)
Jodd fair plan to move to Danneramit,Ladprao. I love Joddfair Danneramit I love German castle at there.wow Snow White Castle of Bangkok.
Thank you for the comment🙏 Yes. The Danneramit spot is already working. But there is a new piece of land at Ratchada (near BigC Place) where the new one opens in November 2024 :)
Danneramit is the best . It’s symbolic of little Disney land of Bangkok on the past (80s-90s).555555
Thai Children on 90s have beautiful memory time of Danneramit.สนุกสุดแสน เที่ยวแดนเนรมิตตตตต 55555
I’m a fan of the original Jodd Fairs. But I will definitely go the Danneramit as soon as I have time. Just for the castle555
Really? I don’t know that the castle is there for so long 😳
Why is it such a long queue? Have I missed something on Netflix?
Watch Netflix series ‘Street food Asia’ episode 1:) And thank you for the comment🙏
This is the dumbest thing ever
Thank you🙏 Waiting in line for three hour for overpriced sure isn’t the best idea55
just try once time and run brother haha in my city bangkok have a lot place for eat like this 1400 bath for all haha hope u enjoy a lot in my country ^^
So true. That’s exactly what I’m trying to say with this video. But I don’t think people believe it after seeing a Michelin star and watching a Netflix episode. Netflix makes you want it so bad 555😂 Thank you!🙏 Enjoying it a lot!
Good video with realistic point of view.
Thank you 🙏
There is no link!!🤬
So sorry:( Maybe this will work: th-cam.com/video/Aiia16MGLiY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UsE7sVtuNXuaGX4b

Woah. So many
What a beautiful landscape and for some reason no people
3:00 and further pretty much explains why😂 And also this location is not really a tourist attraction
