I used a dodgy table saw-lathe to make this tapered legs bench | DIY #2 |
Midcentury modern inspired bench made from reclaimed quarter sawn Tasmanian Oak. Featuring rounded, tapered, wedged through tenon legs and breadboard joinery. The breadboards are more for aesthetics rather than structural.
Also making a cameo is my now 2 year old son

When we learnt that we are expecting, I wanted to make something that is meaningful, and hopefully something our son can enjoy for the better part of his childhood years. This is my very first solid wood project, by no mea...

I would be interested to see how it is holding up with the legs attached to the breadboards. Looks great.

Hi Jase, I'm a visual researcher for STALKR and I am wondering if some of the footage I saw on your youtube channel can potentially be licensed? Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks, Katarina

Brilliant, I’ve been looking for a good design. I love your solution for making the round dowels. I will do something similar to this 👍🏼
