      Hi there! I'm not sure if you're asking if we will have this fragrance available to smell in our showroom or asking about a different scent so I'll offer an answer to both! The Baccarat Rouge 540®(type) is available to smell in our showroom here in Fort Worth, Texas if you'd like to "try before you buy". If you're asking about a different scent from the same company who makes that one, I'm not sure about that! However, when we get a lot of requests for a certain fragrance we will discuss it with our product development team to see if we want to try to find a dupe for it. That's exactly what happened with the Baccarat Rouge 540® (type) and it has been SO popular! If you have any other questions about anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team.

    Is there any way you could do a video that would show us what the candle looks like and how you pull it out? It was my understanding that the wick pin goes outside the mold.

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Certainly! We are working on some new videos for our channel so we will be sure to add this to the list. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the wick pins is no longer producing them so we do not carry them anymore. The wickpins are designed to slide down inside the mold so you can pour the wax around it. After the wax cools, you pull on the part of the wickpin that is sticking out over the top of the mold and slide the candle out. Then, you slide the candle off the wickpin and it should create a perfect tunnel for you to thread a wick through. We hope this information was helpful! Keep an eye out for new content!

    1 ounce of fragrance per 1 pound of wax

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is the most common ratio of wax to fragrance oil but the amount of fragrance you can add to your wax will depend on the wax itself. There are some waxes that can hold up to 12% fragrance oil (about 2oz to 1 pound of wax), while there are others that can only hold 3% (1/2oz per pound of wax). We recommend to always make sure to check the maximum fragrance load for whatever wax you are using before adding your fragrance oil.

    Hi I would like to share a tip I just learned today ! I Used paraffin wax for the first time today and I was struggling to cut it, until I thought about going over where I want it to be cut and heated up a knife and cut through it so easily!! It’s a total game changer.

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Awesome! Years and years ago we used to carry a hot knife, which is the same concept, and they worked great. I think our favorite method to get the wax into smaller more manageable chunks is to put the slab in a bag and throw it on the floor, haha. It works great and it's good for relieving some pent up stress!

    How do you remove the pin from the candle after it’s made? I used some with beeswax and it doesn’t come off so easily..

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some waxes can be a bit more difficult to get the pin out. With paraffin, it tends to slide out pretty easily. With soy pillar waxes, we've noticed it can be more difficult because the wax is more brittle, this may also be the case for beeswax. If you can find a way to heat up just the pin a little bit before you try to remove it from the candle, this may help it slide out a bit easier.

      Both of the E-Z Wick Setter tools are designed to use in different sized vessels. The Single E-Z Wick Setter can fit most jars as small as 1.75" wide and up to about 3.25", while the Multi E-Z Wick Setter can fit most jars as small as 2.5" wide and up to 3.75".

    Hi, for the 8oz, 11oz, and 13iz HB , what is the best size wooden/bamboo lid to use?

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, we do not carry any lids that fit these 3 tumblers but you may be able to find some based on the diameter of the inside of the jars. For the 11oz and 13.25oz tumblers, the inside measures about 3". For the 8oz tumbler, it measures 2.75". So, you would need lids that will fit those two diameters. Hope this helps answer your question!

  • @nicolenaidoo8061
    @nicolenaidoo8061 ปีที่แล้ว

    For the Libbey 13.25, should double wick? If so, which size wick?

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply ปีที่แล้ว

      The 13.25oz Libbey HB Rocks tumbler is about 3.125" wide so I would say you should be able to use just one wick. However, if you find that one wick (that is capable of burning a 3.125" diameter) is not creating a melt pool all the way across your jar after 3-4 hours of burn time, you could try sizing up or go to 2 wicks. Typically, we don't recommend double wicking until you get closer to 3.5" wide, but it depends on the wax and wicks you're using. If you have any other questions or would like some guidance, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team! 1-800-929-9425

    I was just on your website looking for wick recommendations for this jar. I was able to successfully wick this jar with two wicks. But, I want to try three this time around. If I'm using coconut wax, which wick would you recommend? Thanks for the video.

    • @LoneStarCandleSupply
      @LoneStarCandleSupply 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Considering we don't carry plain coconut wax it's a little tough to recommend wicks! Although, we would normally recommend using our ECO Series wicks for soy wax. So, if you were to try those out we would recommend using 3 of the ECO-4 for that jar and wax. We would recommend buying the sample pack to test out before committing!

    Hey. Good knife practice is Never cut toward your body or body parts. If your knife slips you could get cut. Butt the wax up against a box then cut toward the box while pressing the wax brick from the side close to you. If the knife slips it hits the box and not you. Just a thought.

    Do you need to spray your mold before adding the beads?

      We haven't done this when making any of our freshies but do know you can! You can use a silicone mold release or a cooking spray!

    Once you figure out how many oz of oils to use, how do you know how much aroma beads to use with the recipe?

      Typically you would use 1-2oz of fragrance oil per pound of aroma beads! It depends on the density of the fragrance oil.
