Anzali Beach
The Caspian Sea is the world's largest inland body of water, often described as the world's largest lake and sometimes referred to as a full-fledged sea.[2][3][4] An endorheic basin, it lies between Europe and Asia: east of the Caucasus, west of the broad steppe of Central Asia, south of the fertile plains of Southern Russia in Eastern Europe, and north of the mountainous Iranian Plateau. It covers a surface area of 371,000 km2 (143,000 sq mi) (excluding the highly saline lagoon of Garabogazköl to its east), an area approximately equal to that of Japan, with a volume of 78,200 km3 (19,000 cu mi).[5] It has a salinity of approximately 1.2% (12 g/L), about a third of the salinity of average seawater. It is bounded by Kazakhstan to the northeast, Russia to the northwest, Azerbaijan to the southwest, Iran to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southeast.

For some years now, Cyrus the Great has become for me the greatest empire builder and ruler in all history. He never forced his culture and religion on those he conquered. Men and women earned the same amount of money for the same work. The Cyrus Cylinder is a model of justice for all. As a partly Greek person, I've learned that Athenian Democracy was nothing compared to what Cyrus established in ancient Persia. I hope and pray that Iranians today are taught to revere their magnificent heritage.

It was found near Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, and it is said to be a battery from the Iranian Empire. Are you joking or misleading the viewers? Why didn't they find it in Iranian territory instead of Iraqi territory? If your statement is logical and scientific, this is nothing but historical falsification.

@@My_home_land If Persia ruled over Iraq, this does not mean that the invention should be attributed to Iran. Otherwise, such batteries would have been found in all parts of the (empire). Can you mention a place in Iran other than Baghdad where such a battery was found? Also, calling the state the Iranian Empire is a mistake. The empire was called the Sassanian Empire. Iran is a modern name that is less than 100 years old."
