I stop shopping at O Reiley after they sold me the wrong parts. From the looks of it, seems like they did a switcheroo scheme with the parts inside and sold me just some regular brake pad that is half the cost of the real geniune ceramic brake pads. I was piss when i open the box and examine the brake pads from what I had researched beforehand. They was just a set of regular brake pads inside. They weren't even real ceramic brake pads. Took it back and told them that those pads inside are not ceramic pads. they're just regular pads. The lady went to the back room, brought out the same package, and I had her opened it. Sure enough the ones inside match the description on the box. The pads thay sold me didn't even look like what was on the box. So the guy that sold me that fake one lied to me when i look at it and was hesitant becuase it didn't quite match what was on the box. I even ask the guy why it didnt match the box description and he flat out said that they are ceramic. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and purchase it. Should've stuck to my gut feeling when it just didn't match what was on the package box.
For all of you that have had this repair done, Chevy put an extended warranty out on this part, it's now covered to 150k miles. Thank you for this video, we found the bolt that holds the TVV in the cowling of the windshield. Looks like the extra bolt came in the package got left on cowl.
This video helped me so much!! I tried to watch a different one and it was not helping with what I needed. I found this one and I was able to complete this!! I have never worked on any car besides a tire change. It feels so great that I was able to do this all by myself!! 😁💪
Mine went out on my traverse and got the standard and replaced it. Brand new standard valve and a month later throwing the same code. Still rough Idling and all. Standard sus 😂

I didn't get a code nor did the dealership tell me what was the code it might be on the paperwork when I received the vehicle back but will need to check it out when I get back into town

Just had mines change at the dealership at no cost. I have 15 year warranty or 150,000 mile which ever comes first.
Can it be a standard brand or it has to be ac delco ? For the purge valve
