Yemenite shofars and ram's horns proclaiming God's perfect reign. Nehemiah 4:20, Ezekial 33:1-10, The TRUTH shall SET you FREE. - John 8:32. The Word is Jesus Christ Rev. 19:13 and The Gospel of John chapter 1. The trumpet / shofars here announce Yahweh's Kingdom, that it is Him that we must know and seek. The shofar is attached to prophecy, always. The sound is meant to stir up, to scatter confuse the enemy, usher in the presence of Adonai, as a call to turn from our ways and be obedient to God, it is a call to assemble, move forward into battle and a heralding of future events. Shofar is also a sound of celebration. We are to proclaim The Good News of Jesus Christ! The shofar is an alarm and a shout that YHWH alone reigns. We are to trust in Him. Shofar is also a preview of the soon return of The King. This sound IS an encouragement to those who belong to Jesus. Questions? Elul shofar war alarm
This is a shofar sounding to proclaim Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life. The compression of events is clearly felt and seen in these times. Jesus says in Matthew 24; "And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened." If the days are shortened, then this is a merciful act and another thing to be thankful for. Difficult times are here for many now, so how do we stay encouraged and not grow weary or give up? There is always a bigger picture. Father knows all things past present and future, so we may diligently inquire of Him. He will show us things to come. He will pour out His Spirit and reveal to us areas that are not of Him and make a way for us to remove rebellions, pride, selfishness and our clinging to our own understandings. Fast and pray. Seek Him with urgency. Perilous times are here right NOW. Moses fasted and mercy was poured out.
The Spiritual warfare is increased and running more swiftly is the availability of Father's mercy, grace, corrections/love and Truth. The help now for believers is coming only from Him. So if you are one who is saved but has not yet been perfected ( yes this is all of us, NOT perfected ), you can expect a higher intensity of battles, a greater frequency of storms and attacks and also an opportunity to draw nourishment, sustenance and refreshing from God that has a greater peace and a fullness of Joy in the midst of sorrows and pains. Avoiding God's corrections is no longer an option, perilous times are here. Many people are perishing in this time from many different types of attacks. There is a 5th column warfare that is upon mankind regardless of whether we see it or not.
The word "Elul" is Hebrew for the 6th month of the biblical calendar. This is a 40 day period that comes before the Fall Feasts where we are to consider carefully how we have not measured up in areas, have missed the mark and that we are now to ask forgiveness and mercy from God. God will reveal to us more, as we spend time in prayer and in taking an inventory. If we need to, seek out those who we have wronged and seek forgiveness. We are to forgive everyone and also to repent and to have a renewed mind that will produce fruit as we rely on Jesus for direction, counsel, help and guidance. You may be lead to fast and pray or to prepare for harder times ahead.
The time now is to prepare our hearts for the return of The King, so we are to put aside sins or entanglements, strongholds, pride, self reliance or doing things for selfish gain. Thank God for help from Him. Being lukewarm or too comfortable or hard headed in responding to what The Almighty instructs is to put yourself outside of safety.
For seasoned believers, the fiery trials are alongside interceding in prayer and opportunities to share the good news, and/or encourage newer believers. The adversary does not have much time so he will attack those who are carrying a torch and are filled with The Love of Jesus. At the same time, Father will be correcting us, with His rod and now (or very soon) there will be a stronger move of The Holy Spirit because of the brevity of time remaining, the seriousness of the hour and the severity of persecutions and desperation around due to turmoil and shakings, perplexity, pestilence and rumours of wars. Life AND life more abundantly indeed! There is absolutely a greater depth to these struggles solely because of Jesus of Nazareth! Some of us need breakthrough and deliverance (deliverance from ourselves for certain! ) many need to step out in action.
Faith is an action word. Time to pick ourselves up and move out however God is instructing. Pray and fast at the same time right now to know whose you are in a deeper way and what He will have you to do. It is a blessing to know The Word for the promises are especially for now. Reminding Abba of His promises is being under His care. We will require provision, strengthening and good health to be able to occupy. We will be blessed to PUSH through while there is weakness and difficulties for the needs are all around us. Who among us is hearing the alarm ⏰ or knows the lateness of the hour and has a burden for the lost and downtrodden?
What IS The Good News? The good news is these light afflictions, the trials and testings, for they produce in us maturity and greater faith, hope and LOVE. Jesus is good. Everything else will be burned up. Being with Jesus and for Jesus means the way of escape is certain.
The good news is the soon return of King Jesus and how He will see us through and even shorten time. The good news is seeing Father help us in astounding ways when there is no natural way or solution.
He will strengthen us. There will be help coming to those who believe and are working while it is yet day.
The Good News is to do the Great Commission and know that we shall receive power from The Holy Spirit.
May you be richly blessed, in Jesus it is so.
