Well done. That's a lot of work and bending over that no one realizes until they have done it. I was surprised you don't strain your paint. This will eliminate tip clogging, and increase efficiency. We got filter bags that go inside a five gallon bucket. Huge reduction in PIA tip clogs. Love the video!

All I can say is that this train was hauling ass (SPEEDN) when it derailed that very first car behind the loco, was responsible for this hell of a DERAILMENT, All it takes is one car to fu* up the track and then this is the end result.

I'm sure everyone has heard of sanding the rails in bad weather to increase traction... 70 hopper cars-worth of sand might be going slightly overboard though...

My father, Bill Pollard Class of '41 is anxious to see this. He will be able to put names with many faces. He was a 3 sport athlete and also played tuba in the band. He was a good friend and team mate of Eddie Allen. Zeke Kious was a favorite teacher of his and they still corresponded. I read a letter from Mr. Kious to my Dad written in 1994 just last night. Go Tigers!
