@knightautopcd I agree cordless is way better because you don't gave the cord but corded will always just have more power. My maxshine finally took a crap so I ordered the cordless m18 milwakee since I have the m18 batteries already so I'm excited to go cordless

I was really surprised I had to go to that yellow pad on this job never seen a 90s air vehicle that soft and the owner claimed it was the original finish. It looked like it was the original finish except for maybe the passenger side door I saw a chunk of something it made me think it had been re-sprayed. But who knows! And no, I didn't see that announcement but I'm stoked about that! Hopefully you're able to buy those at Lowe's too! Lol

Yeah I was really shocked after I got the nexPTG pro carbon paint thickness gauge it will tell you if it’s got filler and if there has been a respray and I have found a lot of “thin putty” and respray on pre-pdr era vehicles. Yeah at the least somewhere local to buy the batteries. They seem to have better/bigger battery options and superchargers. The 12/18v already sound like they are supercharged with the fan going. You are really the only person on here putting true content out there and not pushing products.

@ I like to push stuff that works for us! That I know is quality stuff! I was extremely shocked to see not one other video on TH-cam anywhere has reviewed, angel wax resurrection extreme! Our video is still the only one up there! Or at least it was the last time I checked a couple months ago... my only complain about that stuff is it's a little runny but good Lord does that stuff tackle even 600 grit scratches ... let's be honest you're not gonna we say anything with 600 and try and polish it But it practically took out 600 grit scratches ! Appreciate the kind words I'm just trying to grow our channel & my business as a whole !

Im going to definitely give it a try on your recommendation I can’t seem to find a heavy compound that I’m in love with. I also haven’t tried DIY gold standard but might get a bottle to try on a one step. Keep pounding it out man and you will be a GOAT on here and in the community one day like Brian! Only bad news lambos and jaguars aren’t cheap!

@@user-oe2dc6ow8q I really try to refrain from calling them out, but the more I looked at it the more I thought about it I didn't make it a point to call them out, but if it came out while I was doing the voice and narration, it was gonna happen naturally lol As for the difference between BC3 and Ceramic gloss, I personally think that BC3 is a little slicker, and might have a tiny more gloss, but in terms of quickness and ease of use, Ceramic gloss wins that one in my opinion I did recently hear of somebody cutting BC3 1 :1 and while I haven't tried that personally yet, I may in the future I sure hope the 2 gallons BC3 that we have unopened doesn't do that! @@user-oe2dc6ow8q Thanks for watching & your feedback, we have another video coming in the next one or two, not sure which one we will get out first where a body shop buffer trailed the 💩 out of a front end on a mustang, and it’s BAD … either that or a smoke and odor removal will be next. Both equally impressive.

Please don’t get me started on body shops just had wife’s car 2024 get resprayed bumper not her fault. NIBs galore and wet sanding etching not polished. Good shop just went to volume over quality. Manager response was told they are manageable and couldn’t be seen unless your right up on it. (Hopefully they’ll get it addressed when the trim ordered come in and it goes back.) I wonder if you could do something with products to use for post coating hand washing and maintenance and upkeep. I’m sure you explain it to all your customers post installation.

@@Tarreee depends on what you're using for protection honestly - I'd follow the manufacturers recommendations for tome to allow for the elements ... coatings such as DIY or C6 is an hour but other manufacturers are anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on the brand. Thanks for watching!

@@davewells2244 these used to have subpar painting - mainly on the jambs and inner fenders (we've seen inner fenders still in primer in the door jambs but they've gotten better in recent years) - thanks for the compliments and watching!

@@asingh82 as long as it's clean first you could! And a rinseless wash would be ok but you'd need several microfibers to wipe it off, Wax off is very pasty if that makes sense

Just bought a bottle of Collinite Beadcoat and Apex BC9 Revamp, not sure which one to use before winter. Might do one on each half of the vehicle.

@@delcorick9967 well it was $55,000 new, it’s not just a regular Cherokee, it’s a loaded out overland model. It’s also my wifes. I am a firm believer and I tell all our customer and potential customers this, since a vehicle is the second biggest investment we make in our lives. Protecting them and get the most of out it’s condition at trade in or resale is essential. Nothing will protect an exterior like a coating will. Even if i had a 25 year old work car that wasn’t a rust bucket. I’d polish and coat the thing to protect it. Idc if it’s a cheap Nissan versa new or a brand new high end Aston Martin or Lamborghini. It’s worth protecting your investment. Thanks for your feedback, opinion and watching!

Lemme guess, you long term rent cars? Some people buy new cars every 5-7 years. They meticulously maintain them, because they own them. 95% of high end vehicles are leases. Imagine coating a rental car.

@@jeffc6832 it got a full decon, iron remover, clay, at that time we used 3D compounds and polishes and used Angelwax Perfect Polish to jewel piss out of it ... and panel prep I'm 90% sure I used PDP Panel Wipe (which I've used for years for non fireball coatings with no issues) but there is a chance I used fireball reborn ... I did do a 5 part video series of going after it, buying it and making it look as perfect as possible without your ego getting in the way ... now we are Angelwax compounds and polishes (believe they are better and we all know how much of a chore 3D one is to wipe off) .... As for the process to install it, used the foam applicator, but when it was applied it disappeared not flashed within seconds of application which I thought was weird but was the first time using it and all coatings are different and it was easy, but it didn't stay wet like I've seen in other videos and then flash off and disappear - it disappeared within 15 seconds of application ... was 70-75° on the day of application - nothing there than the way it disappeared so far to (at least now) to raise a concern over. I might have to do a part three follow up because it rained the other day at lunch while I had it and it looked like it was suddenly beating the water again, but I don't know we'll have to wait and see While I love a lot of DIY products as a business, I can't in good faith buy stuff you could only buy in 16 ounce bottles we have to have minimum of gallons of the stuff. It's just not cost effective and TacSystem water spot remover is legit stuff - lot of tac products are

@@privacyrules while I don't disagree but if it's already been done a few times (and a few spots) and at least in my mind it's already failed ... it certainly can't hurt! You know is always some internet troll that would be "directions say you need to scrub hard!" 😂 🤷🏻‍♂️ - so just covering all the bases to try and kept them at a minimum and be thorough... appreciate the feedback and you watching!

@@RobFarnhamit's gets an mild iron removing soap as part of the presoak and the finish is smooth - no bonded contaminants... why risk using abrasive clay when it doesn't need it - but in any case it still LOOKS great but zero hydrophobics of any kind some I'm as stumped as anyone else! And yes initially was full iron remover and clay before installing the coating!Thanks for watching

Doesn’t sound like you did a full surface prep. Can’t really blame the product if it wasn’t applied according to the directions.

@@The_Cyberz absolutely did ...full deon .. wet sanding (in some areas) polishing - panel prep you name it ... as a former auto refinisher and still ASE certified refinishing technician I can promise you corners don't get cut when applying a coating - it didn't in my painting days and doesn't now - there's a 5 part video series on everything we did to this like 30 videos ago or so and have installed probably near 300 - 400 coatings at this point ... fhanks for watching

When it was installed it disappeared almost instantly on the panel when it was installed I just attributed that to the way it behaved - but after watching a few other videos of installs, it disappeared way faster than I've seen so idk .. maybe ? @@DelgadoDetailing that's what I think because even when you look at the application of this coating in other videos, when I applied it, it disappeared within 15 seconds of applying it .. and in a 70-73° shop that day I thought it was odd but first time applying that coating - so you know how coatings do different things when applying - never really gave it a thought until recently, when I did maintenance on it in Feb this year it was still beading like crazy and looking good so 🤷🏻‍♂️ - thanks for watching and your feedback!

@knightautopcd yeah that's weird. It definitely did not disappear that quickly when I installed it. Sadly, most companies will blame user error before even considering it could've been a bad batch

@@randburg3014 I would absolutely change the grease to some sort of red lithium type grease, such as wolf heads red lithium grease - we'd do that if it was a $600 polisher or a $100 harbor freight polisher ... Thanks for watching !
