I had been getting star rank on every song until this one. I cannot for the life of me understand how to play the part at 0:36-1:06, that part is complete BS. Not even the trick to speed it up by one works for me here. I managed to get A rank, but after doing some research on Google, I found out that all the rewards only require A rank, star is only for bragging rights. So I ditched this song after getting A rank. I officially give up on star ranks now that I know there's literally no point in doing that unless you either hate yourself or just love this mini-game that much. Good lord, the mini-games in Rebirth royally piss me off most of the time. I love the core gameplay of this game with the combat, it's great, I could fight stuff all day. But screw the mini-games. Many of them have logic that simply does not make sense to me, or the logic is horribly inconsistent. Happy for the people who enjoy the mini-games in Rebirth, but they are DEFINITELY not for me. Thank goodness that A rank is all that's needed here, because I was starting to cramp from trying to star rank this for over half-an-hour.

Whoever designed this minigame needs to NEVER design another thing for as long as they live.

Can confirm the speed change strat in the comments. Set it to 2 and got an A on my first try with 800 points to spare.

Okay, after finishing the video I quickly booted up a fresh copy of MUA 1. Speedran my way to level 10 just before Attuma/King Shark. I find hitting the FLIP better by rolling away first then adjusting the cam for better aim. I eventually muscle memory'd the distance to guarantee the flip. so basically, if you want spine tingler to work on normal mobs you're gonna have to NOT spam it.

Barely discovering this gem of a vid while replaying this game on Xbox. But I gotta ask. Are you ever planning to do a tier list for MUA2? Because to my knowledge and research I can’t find a single vid on it. 🥲

This one demand a lot of practice, especially with the multi-chains. 1 or 2 hours and I win the A range (17700 points). The day before my best score was 17310...very frustrating. I've just got it, but yes it's a though challenge. (more than the Tifa gym for me.)

Loved MUA and X-Men Legends back in the day and glad to see it's still kicking around. I missed getting it on PS4 but maybe they'll come around again someday.

Looking thru your Tier List, it looks like the Think Tanks team (Spiderman, Ironman, Dr Strange, Mr Fantastic) is the best team that comes with a team bonus (15% max health).

The most emotional scene for me was easily when Aerith and Cloud are at the end of their date, and Aerith pushes Cloud into the portal.

Deadpool is a must-use character. Not only is he so strong but he is fun as well. Often times his dialogue make me giggle

I'm glad you found out about Hyper Shot. It makes so many powers even more busted like Deadpool's Dual Shot as you noted. Though Hawk's Revenge has its own merits as a boss killer. Combined with Ricochet Rocket (just need to hug the boss before using it) or a fully charged Multishot at point blank, you can consistently one shot bosses. My custom team is almost the same as yours: - Mr. Fantastic - Ironman - Hawkeye - Deadpool I'm using the three we have in common for the same reasons. I'm also aware that you listed Mr. Fantastic as S tier in your other video, but Rubberband Recoil becomes even more insane when buffed with Hyper Shot. It's one of the few moves that has the charging time shortened by Hyper Shot probably due to its animation. Rubberband Recoil also bypasses shielded enemies and almost always one shot them. I usually give Mr. Fantastic a bugged Executioner's Axe with Spider's Bite 20% speed buff for quick finishers that do 4x damage.

The most psychological thing about it js the title 'Hard Mode'.
