@@quaysha1 hey! I mostly use Createx but I do sometimes mix together with some other brands but mostly createx Opaue colors. I’ll do a video on paints asap 😁

Hey there. Yep I cleaned between each color. They kind of blend as you layer on the colors to make the rainbow effect 😊

Hey, the transparent dyes may work, but I don't think alcohol ink would be a good substitute. I usually stick with Createx brand airbrush paints. I do like to use pen ink for metallic colors. Dr.Ph.Martins Irridescent Calligraphy Colors. Other than that, I keep the frustration down by sticking mostly with Createx airbrush paints, lol.

Aww.. did you try calling them? I bought my airbrush from USA Airbrush supply. When I bought, the hose was extra. They sell just the hoses there too. Hopefully you’ll get going soon. 😊

@@NailArtNails Yes I called them left a message, emailed and nothing back. I actually bought it when you recommended it from your other video. Do you know if I could get a hose on Amazon? I have the Sparmax TC 501 compressor. And the airbrush quick disconnect, which the Vega airbrush won’t fit on it.

@@NailArtNailsHey I never even seen this message from you. Can you believe I still haven’t been able to use my airbrush. Every fitting I have tried hasn’t worked. Now my other airbrush broke so I want to start using this one. If I buy that paaascge hose will that work just fine for my airbrush since the other one is out of stock?

Hey, yes I got the hose with my airbrush. I thought the hook up to the compressor was universal but I’m not sure. Try Midwest Airbrush Supply or USA Airbrush Supply, they’re pretty helpful with that kind of stuff. 😊

Thanks :) so for a fancy french (white-only) deisgn i do for free, because i can spray that and topcoat quicker than a couple coats of gel polishing, from there it depends on how colorful the design is- i have a "mild - wild ($10-$20)" scale something like this would be $10.

@@NailArtNails Is that per nail, per color, or full set?

@@misstoi for the whole set. The $10-20 is for all 10 nails, and it’s extra for bling n stuff. But airbrush is so fast to do, so I I don’t charge a lot for it as compared to a hand-painted design request.

@@misstoi I’d charge some $10 for this design, it’s only a couple colors on just the tips and only takes about 10 minutes to complete 😁

hey, i'm excited for you!!:) since i use a strong compressor (1/5 hp), i do not need to thin the createx brand paints which are a little thicker than some other brands. thinning the paints will make it harder to get the colors on good and dark or bright. kind of like those nail polishes that take 10 coats to come up to the true color. and thinning the paint can also cause them to crack or smear when topcoated, i just use the paints straight out the bottle.

i am using Bio Seaweed and Beetles brands base coat and topcoats (no-wipe topcoat), and i use two coats curing between each coat. I also mostly use Createx brand airbrush paints because they don't fade, smear, or crack under topcoats. after experimenting with a few different airbrush paints i found those work best for me 🙂

luv it! my ex gave me the exact opposite feedback, that i cannot design a car just because i can airbrush nails. i did his motorcycle helmet to prove him wrong and he got lots of raving complements on it!
