Bruh, I like your video, but... There are big mistakes in the lore there, very big: Lovecraft never wrote about a distinction between Great old ones and Outer/other gods. This is just a thing from the Chaosium Role Play Game and later authors. When he mention the great old ones he is speaking about the Astral Spawn of Cthulhu, not about Cthulhu, Bokrug, Astur, Yig and the other "Great old ones" Rpg classified entities... Azathot does not dream reality, this is another thing taken from the Rpg... The God who dream reality is Mana Yod Sushai from the Gods of Pegana (Lord Dunsany). Azathot is the infinite demon sultan, and his servants just play their music to amuse him, not because otherwise everithing will end with him waking up. Then, about his power: Yog Sothot is far superior to Azathot, since he keep Azathot in the outer realm, outside of our universe... Yog Sothot is everithing and even Azathot is just a part of him (just as everithing else). Then, the fact that the other gods are followers of Azathot is untrue and the fact that the Old gods destroyed his mind is another lie... You should read Lovecraft before creating lore videos about his writings... This is more your rpg headcanon than true lore of the setting however.

My first loovecraft story I read when I was 12. My family was on holiday camping in the Ardennes, Belgium. It was raining a lot, and it was a kind of dark between the trees. Not far away was a local garbage heap where huge rats were walking around. It was the first time in my life I saw rats. Part of the camping ground was made of slate, and 3 of us manage to fall on the first day, with severe wounds. The perfect place for a 12 year old girl to read horror stories. After 4 days my mom wanted to leave, and we went to Brussel. Where the sun shined, there were geese on the camping and American girls that were fun and fascinating. A great contrast after the Ardennes. *Don’t remember which one it was anymore, but there was strange math involved, that frightened me the most. Of course I’m subscribing immediately.

The first book I read by Lovecraft was a bit challenging at first due to the descriptions filled with geological, fossil, and architectural terms about the city. But I finished it, and later I researched those terms and read it again, and the experience was much better. When you read it knowing the secret hidden in At the Mountains of Madness, you notice details that make the story even better. Now I feel like reading it again! xD
