@@NIGHTSMOKEBEATS they live 7-8 years. If was likely a poor diet that will have killed them early. A bad diet can cause them to get bloated which is fatal to them without emergency vet treatment

Oh yes! They eat you out of house & home. The biggest cost of guinea pigs is definitely the veggies they need.
