@@Ravenfel_MH That's a bummer. I have noticed this tendency of modern games making inferior sfx when compared to old titles. Many modern game sounds are generic e unimpactful, to the point of becoming discreet. I wounder why would the developers do such a thing, it's clearly an inferior version.

really mixed on these sounds as well. Some weapons/attacks make sense to have new ones since they do seem more like slash attacks but the impact is the main complaint by people in the sounds. Switch axe could have had a mix of the old sounds for an impact on heavy attacks while still having the "fast" attack sound. While IG sounds more like a glaive for majority of attacks which i founds ok with the sound changes in comparison.

​@@NoahCallenberg Which makes it weird it isn't in the main camp. Speculation: SO TASTY! Doesn't happen in the main camp, the big one that was a player hub in the Beta, because it will get attacked in the story and you'll move base camp to somewhere else. Therefore it isn't an actual "safe area".

It's pretty fun as a longtime hunter to use a new weapon with each new title. Like. Ofc I go back and use my main eventually but it's nice to experience new things 😌 I'm. Swaxe main but for wilds I'm considering either bow or gunlance :> But the absolute best thing in wilds is that technically you can use a backup weapon on the fly much quicker so if things are getting too dull or I need to bring out the...big guns so to speak. 😂

Monster Hunter Wilds currently in beta test for the weekend

Love how every weapon definitely has their advantages. I like to switch in between a lot because it's like having a "secret" technique once you have a weapon down. Like when the switch axe side steps dodge perfectly, or vaulting over a breath attack and of course any counters or blocks that just make you smile. Makes the weapons feel good and love that about this game series.
