I discovered this song recently, random play on Apple Music, and am amazed at it. I never paid attention to Heaven 17 any time in my life, but this is really GOOD. Haven't found anything half as good in their other recordings though. It was just not a group for me I guess.

Rick Astley is like, we grew up together from the 80's. Rick Astley looks younger than most. Still, I see some grey and some minor wrinkles. His voice is distinctive. " Together Forever " with Rick Astley.

Love the song. Maybe their second best after Let Me Go, IMO. This is almost a great music video. It has a story! It has some very good directing moments. The robbery footage and ending are really expensive looking and evocative but the attempts to weave the lyrics and lip-synching into it hurt the re-watchability for me.

Woke up today with this tune in my head. I've Heard Glenn's voice...slowly the lyrics came through. I suffered more than 12 hours with this "brainbug" and then at 7:30 pm, i've got it !!! THIS IS MINE/HEAVEN 17 Thank god 🙏 40 years are a realy long time.

Had not thought of this tune in literally decades and then recently a bit of it unexpectedly popped into my head-- just the words "synchronize" and "you can have it all, I don't need it". Thankfully there are sites that specialize in showing songs if you type in phrases, and now I know it's this song here. I still remember listening to this on the radio (WLIR in Long Island, NY) during my college years back in the 1980s. Just great production, synth/brass, percussion, bass, and vocals. This and Let Me Go, Temptation, and We Live So Fast are my favorites by Heaven 17.

Never really took to the Fairlight CMI, but this is okay. Nice best. Prefer the pure analogue sound of H17 that they sort of have returned to in recently years, in a way.

haven't heard this in a while though i got the 12" vinyl somewhere... gosh how good music was back then.... this and Shout To The Top and others were on heavy rotation...

During the filming of this, Glenn injured his leg very badly, but he carried on with great stoicism as any Yorkshireman would (see Glenn's limp at 2:51) as he exits for the van. LOVE YOU GLENN My teenage crush!!
