Prisons Report Launch
In April 2024, Mental Health Reform published research entitled ‘Mental Health Services & Supports in Prisons: Service Mapping and Reflections from Lived Experiences’.
The report sought to better understand the mental health services and supports available to adults detained in closed-prisons, including the pathways to accessing these resources and potential barriers.

I quit camhs 🙃x (if u dont get it I basically had 2 sessions and didn’t wanna open up to them bc I literally just met the worker and I didn’t trust her jst yet so I just said I’m not answering the questions and she asked me if I wanted help from them and I said no ❤)

Everybody wants to move on without as much as a backward glance at the 1945 Mental Treatment Act as Amended. Countless thousands were Arbitrarily Arrested & Indefinitely Detained under the 1945 Act, especially in cases of marital breakdown and the absence of divorce in Ireland. I never had any contact with my father and was unable to come home to his funeral. The system of psychiatry destroys the living soul and spirit of all those who are sick enough to seek any help from those monsters. It's time to wake up and get real and call a spade a spade.
