Could we get a two year update?
by what angle does this looks like a DIY??? U Guys are professional and it looks this is ur daily job
Came out very nice, I can see it was a lot of work to get it perfect
great job 👏
their relationship is polyamorous not the sand
that poor bastard.
It looks so good!!!
Do you have a cut list? I see the list of lumber, but what size is each cut??
Where can I get a copy of the plans
Did you screw the patio cover to any of the tile? And if so did the tile break?
Add heavy duty lockable caster wheels
Love it ❤
Your patio reminds me of a slab house after an f5 tornado, a common sight here in Oklahoma.
how are the pavers holding up and what part of the country are you located in I'm in the northeast so i get freeze-thaw heavy rain and major temp flauations
great video , explained each step so well ! looks great !
Im in the process of doing something exactly the same. How is yours holding up? Im thinking of buying the same pavers from HD. What is the color of the tiles that you bought? Any lessons learned that you would like to share of would uave done differently? Thanks
Can you lay down that tile on flat concrete without having to lay all that extra stuff first ? 😍
Women are comically casual, and liberal, with the word “we” whilst explaining DIY projects. :)
Wait, wait, wait you did this over your old patio floor?
Great job. Could you share what materials you used? Mortar mix and adhesive.
Aren’t you supposed to tile from the house outwards away from house? It looks nice ❤
Someones playing Stardew :D
How much did it all cost?
FYI that type of tile is for mortar set applications and not suppose to be set on stone dust 🍃
Hi. Thanks for the comment. We read the install instructions for our particular product and sand install is ok for light pedestrian traffic. Page 14. images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/c8/c8bebc02-98a8-4e72-b5e4-d47cb87bdc85.pdf
What a great project for spring!
Wow, you guys done a good DIY job! Do you know high is gravel and sand that you have to put on top of the concrete slap before laying porcelain tile. I have a similar situation and I am not sure to remove the concrete and fill up 6 inches base gravel and than sand before laying tile. With this method, I can save some money for the concrete slab demolition. Any problem after 4 months of the installation?
Hey there! At the 3:30 mark you kinda see how much depth of under material was needed. It’s about 1 inch of material. Ours was mostly rock. Then a little sand on top. If we had to do it again, we’d maybe do all sand instead. It would have made the install a little easier. So you can wiggle them in place easier. So far it’s help up of great! The one issue we’ve had is when it’s cold out it does become an ice rink. We joke we should have had put in some sort of heating element, at least in the main walkways.
How did the swap go?
What program is that you used for the build plan?
What is the name of your tile? You both did a great job!
They are from Home Depot. Corso Italia brand. Outer edge is Alpe Silver. And the rest are Alpe White.
My girlfriend and I just picked up a 04 and are going to do the same thing cant wait to see yours done
Wooo! 04 is one the best years for the D2!
Hi, could you share you’re plans? I am looking to build soon. This is exactly what I had in mind.
Looks great. Good job! I wanted to do tile but it's not in the budget.
How's the swap going? I'm just finishing mine up!
Ours is finished and going strong (still has some Rover electrical gremlins LOL)
@@emilynkeyes what did you use for the exhaust manifold? Thanks in advance.
Was it a kit that you purchased? Looks amazing would love have this in my yard.
I just got my kit! Super excited to start in on mine 🤙🏻
Congrats!
I want to see how you made it😭
