Blood and Chrome was dumb about ships. REALLY dumb about ships. To the point that the ship sequences outside of the simulator run, the skirmish at the Archeron, and the Wild Weasel's crash landing... largely need to be redone or else thrown out and replaced with slideshows. But it was a good story.

After listening to a couple of songs by Yoasobi (either Japanese or English versions), I somehow feel the need to follow them up by playing this exact one

I love this song!

As a fan this was a fun movie. Objectively not great but good. However Blood and Chrome does one thing I wish prequels would do much more often. It introduces his partner, someone we never see or hear of in the show, and does not kill him off. Prequels have this tendency to kill off any main character that does not appear in the original. They pretty easily could have made his partner Saul but then we'd have an issue where we never would be afraid when he's in danger because we know he survives. I just give this movie lots of props for not killing off a new character.

War of the colonies mod for EAW. Just play all the best bsg music and fuck them cylons up.

Blood and Chrome was a pilot show for a young Adama pilot on board BSG-75 Galactica. Too bad it wasn't popular enough to get the green light.

I know this thread is ancient, but this song would have been amazing as an armada of Battlestars like Pegasus, Atlantia, Scorpia, Bellerophon, and Olympus and led by Galactica lead a massive "Base Delta Zero" on the frakking Cylon Homeworld. And Adama addressing the fleet. "We have come so far, through endless suffering and death, we have all seen our fathers, our sons, our daughters, and our families fight and fall for the glory of the Twelve Colonies. Each and every one that we have lost will finally know the uniform they chose to honor was not in vain. For we stand with our brothers and sisters of the Thirteenth Colony shoulder to shoulder, brothers in arms as we begin the final assault on our greatest enemy!! An enemy that has stopped at nothing to reduce the human race to a memory! The blood of over forty billion people, the once great Children of Kobol, cry for justice. This movie is a disappointment. It's good, but they spend the first 10-20 minutes setting up how much of a hot stick, Viper Jock Adama is. Then saddle him with a Raptor for maybe a total of 15 minutes then have him, his new GF, and WSO( whom Adama orders around despite being a lower rank) traipsing around on an ice planet for at least 30-45 minutes..... Well done movie. Just not whatcI thought I was getting into.

Thanks for the upload. Tried finding the soundtrack recently to replace one lost due to a hurricane. Amazon has one for $100 and only one. Too bad would love to add that to my collection. They have all the other BSG soundtracks but not this one? Limited run?

I'm an old-school sci-fi fan over 60 and out of all the Sci-Fi series and movies that I have watched in that time this was my favorite by far. Listening to this music by bear McCreary put me in the mood to kick some toaster ass even at my age
