Why are your flaps down for take off? I believe they should be UP :D
No, because like real planes, the flaps should be down because it generates more lift in lower speeds.

I'm planning to get ArmA 3 just to fool around on a single-player sandbox and just bomb stuff. Which DLC do you recommend?
Whichever ones interest you. They're all good quality but if you wanna save some money buy a bundle or wait for a good sale and they'll all be super cheap. You don't need DLC though if you want to just try the base game there is lots of content in it already. I don't have them all but if you like jets that's a good one. So is Apex if you want another high quality map.

You can spawn it in the editor under the nato drones and place a UAV operator to use it when you play the mission. Theres probably a video about that if you search how to spawn drones

How the fuck are you hitting targets, I just can't hit anything, I laser mark and do everything as you do but the bomb goes straight to nowhere. Help !
Honestly Idk i played a few weeks ago and couldn't get it to work. They might have updated it
Have you figured it out? It seems like the bombs don’t auto track lasers anymore, hud elements have to line up

@@mavrx3176 cause u are using the FLAPS T/O (Take off) or in first position. Second position its for landing
@@Thadddz Yeah but it makes no sense because you should have less drag for takeoff than landing. might be a bug
@@mavrx3176 flaps aren't for drag, they are for pitch authority in low speeds
@@Dutchcomentatah There entire purpose is to increase lift at low speeds which can help low-speed handling but drag is like the second main purpose of them.

@@cristianjuarez1086 pretty sure that’s ace mod, vanilla Arma has no G-forces that can force your avatar to a passed out state

I do it exactly the same way (about 2000m high, loiter around target, laser on, press t on target, a square with corners appears). I drop the bomb, but it doesn't hit the target. Has been smth changed?

You have to place the carrier in the editor. But there is also a mission, where you start on the carrier.
