Great Great album. Love Anathema, this continues where 'Distant Satellites' left off. 'Optimist' was a bit of an outlier yet still excellent. So glad to know there is more in the tank because I loved Anathema dearly. So good. Its a definite buy if you havent bought it.

I'm just glad Danny is in one piece. Can't help but thinking how these tracks would sound with Vinny's vox. Maybe one day...

Its nice to hear Danny talk a bit about Anathema and why they broke up. He also has mentioned how despondent he was over the breakup, but he hard found an excellent therapist/psychiatrist who has helped him immensely. Plus he has said he started meditating, which is essential to calm a crowded mind. I was so happy to hear that he still gets along well with brother Vincent, who actually lives down the road from him. Now to the new album- absolutely brilliant! Danny and Cardoso and Sonia has still retained an Anathema sound, but more unique. I've listened to the album at least 25 times already and it gets better with every listen. I will also say that I am enjoying Vincent Cavaughs/The Radicant EP immensely. Much more experimental and distant from the Anathema sound, but still excellent. Zero Blue is a great high energy song. I wish Weather Systems the best of times on tour, and like many fans, I hope perhaps someday Vincent and Danny and Anathema reunite for either new music or to play again the songs we all love.

The album dropped today. I'm so happy to hear the essence of Anathema again, was surprised that the whole thing was just Danny, Daniel and a few singers. Will always miss Anathema. Great interview and Danny, if you see this, don't let them turn off the comment sections on your videos!

It's never going to be easy when a band you've listened to for 20 years and who've been there through some of your darkest times break up :( i just pray they're all in their element and living life enough to make them content. Also more music please 😂 💚

Danny is right, Weather Systems is possibly Anathema's best record. Quite a journey. Unfortunately I didn't like both Distant Satellites and The Optmist...could never really grasp them. But this new project seem to go in the right direction at least for me. Good to see you back Daniel!!

Glad his new album is gonna be heavier. The last couple of Anathema albums were a little too soft. Sucks to hear Vincent doesn't like playing guitar anymore.

The way Daniel kept repeating himself about the band parting ways and saying there’s nothing but love between them, I can tell it wasn’t a good break up, there were some passive agressive comments there too.

Good to hear from Danny. Weather Systems album is one of the best examples of sound evolution in a band. Weather Systems as a band generates a lot of expectations for me, even more so if unexpectedly an Untouchable Part 3 comes to life!! Excellent interview, thank you very much.

Cool interview. The wait for new music is killing me, but at this point I'd rather wait for a new album vs singles or an EP. Karnivool have always been an "album band" for me much like Tool or Radiohead. Each of their releases have a unique sound/texture to them that makes them stand out from one another.
