I bought a Saxon brand it has a lever on the inside below the open and close lever what's that for I have moved up or down can't see what its purpose is ? Can you help?

Can you replace the blade on these?
Very good video. Thanks. I've spent a LOT of time in the woods. The most useful tool I use when doing various things to get through difficult areas I have to go through is a pruner first then if that won't do, a small saw. My hands and wrist suffer from much use and I'm not the man I used to be. I was going to get the Felco but I'll look at what you suggested. it's a bit strange, but I'm excited to open these for Christmas and finally get rid of that Bush on my fence row by my garden :-)
Thank you for telling us that someone had trouble opening and closing these pruners. Even after watching you and squeezing the handles together, I still have to use a screw driver to push the slider up and back. However, you have reassured me that it will get easier with use. Until I watched your video I hadn't managed to unlock them at all.
