Dubai is not a big city at all, by any standard. New York, undoubtedly is a big city and it is said about New York that it is not owned by anyone and it does not own anyone. Hence, Karachi is somewhat like New York in the sense that it attracts people who are purely economic migrants in the City. Their attachment to the city is not emotional but more practical. Needless to say that New York is a mega city well developed by virtue of its economic activity and wealth. Large cities around the globe have many similarities. However these cities differ only because of the way they are managed by the inhabitants and the people who are in power to manage or mismanage them.
