My daughter and I took in the Rolling Stones Concert here in Vancouver on Friday 5th July 2024. This is a huge one off my bucket list - the best Rock n Roll concert I have ever attended - and these songs - Sweet Sound Of Heaven and Gimme Shelter - was (for me) the best songs of the whole night. I normally only see this from the other side of the water (North Vancouver) but on the 10th May 2024 we took an alternate ride home - over the Lionsgate Bridge - thru Stanley Park and the waterfront of Vancouver - absa-bloody-lutely awesome! It's no wonder I think Vancouver is the most beautiful city in the world!

What size is your kicker motor?
it's a 6 hp - bought it new about a year ago for another project - it has hardly been used - maybe 1 hr on the motor - I just feel guilty every now and again and strap it on to the back of my 175 and run it for a few minutes

nope - this is the XL (2.5 AWD) with 4k tow package - I think the hybrid can only tow 1500 lbs (but I might be wrong)

This is great!! More tow videos please not enough tow videos on this truck. Road trip towing etc would be great.
So obviously the Maverick is capable to tow that load, but how does it feel? The truck is about 700# heavier than the boat/trailer, did you notice slip on the ramp, or any sway when trailering? My lake is about 45 min away mostly highway, I'd want the Mav to inspire confidence towing a similar size/weight boat.
The truck is as steady as a rock - zero slippage on the ramp - no sway on the trailer - I did put the drive mode in tow/trailer (although I hear its not necessary because it really helps with sway only - but that's what I heard - not what I know) - however - from my house to the ramp is but 5 kms with roads that have 50 kmh limit (but everyone including me drives at up to 70) with trailer - rock solid - to be frank I didn't notice any difference when I towed the same with an F150 - but as I said i only tow a short distance - haven't been out on the highways yet.

@@philmony9138 tow haul mode enables higher range RPM for shift points brother. it'll save your transmission and motor. heavy loads working at low rpm can be devastating
How much does the boat weigh?
boat - trailer - stuff on the boat - total around 3000 lb. (tow package on the Maverick is 4000 lbs.)
