I get why British people have that phrase "what're you on about?" British rockstars in particular always rant in hypotheticals saying "know what I mean?" a lot. If you have to ask, then why not just speak clearly dammit, a statement shouldn't have to be deciphered. It's hard enough with that thick accent.

I’ve always noted how Damon as a young man had this sort of ethereal/angelic/cherubic look to him, what with the big blue eyes & fair strawberry blonde hair. No wonder why guys and gals went Gaga for him back in the 90’s.
To save people time from looking up cherubic/ethereal, they basically mean the same thing as angelic.
He's just a silly little guy (who also happens to be a 56 year old man) jokes aside we all love blur don't we

Bit disappointed
I’m not American or British. I would guess the problem was the lyrics. I like the song This is a Low a lot but the verses make no sense to me because i don’t live there. I can only cry to the chorus😅 but idk why coffee and tv or the universal weren’t a hit in USA because those don’t have lyrics that only British can relate. Anyway he should’ve just pulled an Alex Turner and locate to LA if it was just a big deal for him.
Why’d you speed it up? This is one of my favourite albarn clips because you can see the frustration and the angst at having not made a mark in america and knowing the way forward on how to do it. He’s spent ten years and it’s fallen on deaf ears… that was about to change.
