Maybe it is a good idea next time on our way to Sugar Beach in Sipalay to have a stopover here by the fishing community in Maloh.

The fishing beach at Maloh is very easy to spot because of the many fishing boats, although you can hardly see them as you drive past the beach on National Highway 7 at Maloh. The Maloh School is a landmark. You can park in front of the school and find your way to the beach.

It is very interesting to experience life in a Philippine fishing village.

We were at the beach in Maloh, Siaton, Negros Oriental in the evening for the fishing preparations and early the next morning for the fishermen's return, and had a great time photographing and filming the people there as they went about their various activities.

I love this town. I plan on retiring in the highlands with my wife.

We had a wonderful few hours in Bayawan City on the long boulevard and at the mouth of the river with its fishing boats. It was a great trip.

This is the beginning of an extensive 3-day photo and video trip to Barangay Maloh in Siaton, Negros Oriental to visit the fishermen. This video is from our first day, where we were able to observe and document the preparations for the night fishing. A salute to the friendly fishermen of Maloh.
