I got tired of those travel videos that have bad camera shots, music that is too loud/obnoxious and people talking about things that arn't relevant.
So I started making these travel guides so you can do the exact same trip with less planning and actually enjoy the videos with nicer shots, peaceful music and to the point information.

The Enchantments, Washington Day Hike | Trail Guide, Planning and Tips
We hiked The Enchantments hike near Leavenworth, Washington State in one day! This was definitely one of the most beautiful hikes I have ever done! The hike itself is about 32 km and was tough, we did this with no training and were fine but we are generally active people, if you have time I would train for this.
In this video, I start off with a step by step trail guide and then cover some trip planning going over permits, bathrooms, water sources, wildlife, a packing list and where to stay nearby/accommodation.
In the trail guide, I'll cover the initial hike through the dark to Colchuck lake where you will see some of the most stunning waters. We then hike up the infamous Asgard's Pass where we cover 700m of elevation over about 1.5km. Afterwards we going through the most beautiful section with amazing alpine lakes and stunning landscapes. Hiking further the views don't stop until we get back to the car.
If you are interested in other locations in Washington State such as top things to do in Seattle, Mount Rainier hikes in Sunrise and the 3 Burroughs hike as well as some hikes in Vancouver, Canada, make sure to check out my full Washington State Travel guide as well as my Vancouver Travel guide on my channel!
Let me take you through this journey with my to the point, no nonsense travel guide so you can do the exact same trip with no fuss and have an amazing time.

24:56 That is Road 614 not 622. 614 leads to the Red Sand Beach and is in the most southern Fjord in the reagion. The 622 is like 3 Fjords more north and you did not even drive to Thingeyri where the 622 starts. I tried to drive the 622 (the real dangerous road that is under the sea level for half a day every single day) on September 4th and I had to turn around after 1.5h of driving besides steep cliffs because the road was destroyed by the storm 2 days before. The road will never be repaired and is still broken even visible on Road.is. A local woman who lives on road 622 said to us that a Skoda was destroyed in the waves during the storm (car got stuck and owner hiked to safety). So no you did not drive the most dangerous road, you drove a well pressed dirt road called 614. Still a great Video. Loved watching it, apart of calling that road 614 in great conditions the most dangerous of the country.
ah makes sense! I'll be sure to make the changes to the video! Thanks for your correction and comment!!!

Great video and super informative!! What rental company did you use? Would you recommend them?
@@RoshniKollipara thanks for the love!! We used Lava Car Rental. I'd say it was a fair price and very friendly people but nothing special, I mostly went with them as it was the only rental available at the time. I saw alot of rentals from Cozy Campers and their vans looked a little nicer. So to answer your question I would recommend them but it's a very basic setup

@@tarpontown congrats on 25 years and thanks too!!! I know you will have a lovely trip, feel free to ask any questions as you do more planning!
Very nice video, beautiful images you made there! I'm going Iceland late october, but I have some questions about how easy is to get to every attraction, GPS is enough? The parking spots are easy to identify? And the hiking trails? I'm kinda scary for its my first big trip, so I'm getting every help I can!
Thanks for your lovely comments! I would say it was fairly easy to get around but some places can be far apart. It also depends on your location, in October I think some of the more remote locations which are far apart, such as the highlands might be closed off but the more popular attractions should still be open. Through our trip we only had issues with GPS/cell service in the highlands and west fjords but we had wifi router in our campervan which helped with that. For most trips around the Ring road I would say just your cell is enough but I would pre download the maps/directions if you are unsure! All of the parking and trails were easy to identify! I wouldn't be too worried as everything was fairly straightforward and Iceland is super safe as well! I am sure you will have a great trip!
@@adventurerice Ty for your kindness!
I might've missed it in the video but what time of the year did you go?

Beautiful island, we just returned last weekend from Vancouver as well for a 5-day trip, too little time too much to see... didn't make to the Victory, definitely do the next visit, Vancouver Island!
Thanks for such a great video! Totally agree about the voice...very calm and relaxing to listen to. Must be all that island time. :) We are heading out to Vancouver and Vancouver Island in August....have been there a few times. When leaving Tofino I was planning to go back to Nanaimo and then to Malahat but I hadnt thought of crossing through to Port Renfrew and coming back along the coast. We were in Sooke last year and loved it. You may have changed my plans!!! Thanks again, glad you had a great experience.
Thanks alot!!! Your kind words and appreciation mean alot to me!!! 🙂 Wishing you safe travels and an amazing time in August!
Hello! Between Day 10 and Day 11, you mentioned doing a quick drive from Rauðisandur to Reykjavik of 2 hours. Was that a typo ? Google maps says it's more like a 5 hours drive. I am trying to plan my West Coast itinerary and I noticed that big gap.
I may have misspoke in the video but the approximate 2 hours is from our campsite for the night which was just outside of the West Fjords (Búðardalur tjaldsvæði), to Reykjavik. I think it was about 3 hours to this campsite from Raudisandur which adds up to the 5 hours.
@@adventurerice that adds up for sure. Thank you for the quick reply ! My gf and I loved your video
