I always wondered why at the beginning this sounds more like Deadside than Asylum

The Western music blends beautifully with the Salvage Yard. It's just plain perfect, I did not expect to find this in the Remastered version and no regrets at all

This track is a testament of Mr. Haywood's genius. You feel like you are being inside a prison while the voice of Victor echoes in your mind as it did with the poor inmates' and wardens' heads before exploding. True class

I remember in the original ports this area was called yhe Undercity. Fogometres still seems quite forboding as a name but I loved how 'France Catacombs' the word Undercity sounded.

this was akin to psychological pressure while playing. I feel abused after completing the playrooms lol, (in a good fucked up way). What gear did you use back then to compose this? It still sounds so timeless

9:00 really kept me on my toes while playing. I mean in the game the soundtrack is so dynamic, from room to room it changes slightly. Few sounds dissapear, and new ones appear, keeping the same loop. I understand the suite is for bringing the best bits into one composition, but in the game those parts sound longer, more varied and more repeating. Its so awesome.

i've never played the original, but i've just completed the remaster and this track is just so fire. Navigating the prison of head-exploding prisoners was claustrophobic. I even thought the lizard king was talking spanish for a moment until i heard it several times and realized its his boosfight phrases. Much better rework than the original (when compared)
