As one of original ABC Breakers, Foot Rock Bunch in my opinion was the best group in Hawaii hands down. We battled them at Cilly’s and think we lost. I was the second youngest guy in the group, around 9 or 10. I remember Baby Legs backing up Foot Rock during that battle. Damn! 10 yrs old and hitting the club 🤣Good times

Thanks for posting these. Do you remember "Bits & Pieces"? Those guys were everywhere back in the early 1980s. One time they came to Maui (Baldwin High School) to perform and the whole island went crazy.

Whatever happened to the Drane's? Mike and Derrick were a huge part of the scene back then....

I went to intermediate school with BJ. aka Billy. I used to watch this show every week and remember being surprised to see him on it. I knew he was a good dancer cuz in phys. ed we had to take dance as part of the requirement. He's really good, this right here doesn't show even half of what he was capable of back then. And I noticed a different dude at the finals. I wondered what happen. Maybe he was a only filling in for David?

Nice Vid. I saw this interview last week 7/22 and I wondered who one of the songs was. Bar Kays. Nice. Are Bits n Pieces still around? We are! Still Poppin in 2022 since 1980 and also DJ. We just had our 13 Poppers get together in Carson CA this past weekend 7-23-22. My name is Omar aka Mighty Omar from L.A. Did any of you know Jason De Silva? He's Suga Pop's lil brother who passed away but he was from Hawaii. Some of the moves B n' P do remind me of his moves. Anyway, thanks for posting and let me know if these guys still do their thang.
