I’m glad I found this video! I used to take this book out of the school library all the time when I was in grammar school. I think about it once in a while and for the life of me couldn’t remember the title or author. Someone on Reddit helped me find it and said there are videos on here of people reading the book. I’m so glad I got to read it again and see the pictures through this video. I actually didn’t remember the story, but I remember the illustrations.

There is a TV series where this book was adapted (The Busy World of *the late Richard Scarry) *Richard Scarry passed away in 1994 when this series came out

this explains a great deal

I had this book as a child. My sister and i treasured every page and read it over and over. It was a little bit of magic. Both of us longed for a doll like Annabelle and all of her beautiful treasures. I love that some of the illustrations are soft and dreamy and others vivid and colourful. Thanks for reading it here. It brought back some lovely memories from an innocent time.
