I had the exact same thought. Only thing I can think of is you don't have a clean way of removing the flamberge from the s/t zone after putting it there to protect from nib because you used the tag out effects of ash and oak already, so it's not really valuable to put the flamberge in s/t. If they do have nib its great, if not it's hard to remove it without something like dramatic chase, or waiting around to the next turn. Problem with that is then flamberge itself doesn't get to put a valuable name in s/t.

As i said in the intro im still testing with it and im not 100% certain if i wanna main it or not. However, im playing it in the same list but without jet synchron atm

I'm still testing Snake-Eyes Diabellstar lines but yeah i like the Packbit line quite a bit tbh

I think Harbingber is the best line. Protects your IP/Apo and insulate you against a breaker, especially those that steals since that will easily turn your Apo against you.

Use omega to rip 1 from hand then use poplar and flamberge to go for ip, flamberge revive 2 and then you just go for a regular ip + princess in the gy end board and your opponent is still on 4 cards because you ripped 1 with omega and they used crow

@@Federico1871 other than shifter there's no single hand trap that beats SE immediately. Some hands may be weak to imperm/veiler on ash for example but generally they can play through almost everything. You need at least 2 hand traps

I found that 2 sonata 1 conan is enough but you can cut the duster for a 3rd sonata if youd like. I just like having duster in main especially with prosperity being able to fetch it and also thrust if u end up siding that. I play couplet first just to check for a hand trap like ogre etc before committing to my normal. Its neither here or there, you can normal refrain first but i feel like couplet first is slightly more optimal. Dweller is good against gy effects like against mannadium for example or even fire kings. Obviously schubarta is still phenomenal in that match up but having dweller on top its a gg. Also dweller plays better into super poly or even DRNM if those end up being more playable. But its definitely a flex spot, if you think having another rank 4 for specific match ups that you struggle with is better than play it. For nibiru and bystials, you can play em if you want and use sky striker azalea that im already playing in the extra deck to link them off with one of your monsters then pop something while clearing your board. Droplet also helps

Bacha is phrased "While you control this Fusion Summoned card, the activated effects of your "Melodious" Fusion Monsters cannot be negated". and Imperm doesn't negate the activated effect, it negates targeted card effects and Bacha doesn't protect from such interaction. so, you can't Ash Blossom it, but you can Imperm

These are all respectable options but mu reasoning behind not playing them is the fact they increase bricking and decrease the number of going 2nd cards. Poly is a bad draw, elegy is a bad draw and even tamtam is awkward to draw compared to the other melodious stuff. You are already playing some necessary awkward draws like shopina so i dont wanna make that worse. Also, i think aria alone is enough vs 99% of situations. Targeting protection is almost always gonna be enough.

​@alexYu-gi-oh right like you're placing your monsters in defense so lightning storm doesn't do it, imperm doesn't work, if they have droplet they gotta pitch more than what feels good to stop your combo. It's just usually better to play fewer bricks yeah.

Bacha can't be negated with with ash so there's no point in chain blocking it

pitknight sets the negated monster to 0 so it is pretty much also battle protection :)

@FlyBoyKhi - summon ash get poplar then field spell and put oak in the s/t zone - send ash and oak for flamberge - make ip with both and chain block flamberge with poplar and put flamberge in the s/t zone and you bring back oak and ash and oak brings back poplar - summon witch by sending a card from hand this is important witch get original then activate sending either ash or poplar to summon jet - make omega to rip 1 - make princess with ip and the ash or poplar CANNOT be oak and bring back either poplar or ash doesn't matter - you then use oaks effect sending princess and it self to summon flamberge - then put ip in s/t zone - summon jet from grave to then summon formula Make dis pater and summon back omega for a second hand rip So after everything your end board should be dis pater as your only monster with field spell up and flamberge and ip in the s/t zone with princess in grave
