If you haven't used a 900 then you dont know what you are talking about. Ive used one for over a year and bought a Manticore for $1100 off of finds with 900. My gf uses my old 800. Her headphones stopped working and i got out the 900 and she went back to where she was and found a coin that the 800 didnt hear. If you think all the difference in an 800 and 900 is a couple of fancy upgrades then you need to talk to someone that actually has one. I know this videonis a year old, but i came across you bashing the Manticore for price on someone else's video. I own all three of those machines as well as a Legend. Legend sits in the closet, with 6 hrs on it because it gave me tennis elbow the first time i used it. Not because its heavy, which it is, but the angle of the handle and arm cuff. Im 6'5" 280 lbs, weight wasnt an issue on it for me.

Thanks gurl, the X-terra Pro rocked in the wet sand and I'm srry but it performed better than any Garrett I took to the beach, no offense

No, my Nox 600 did good as well, dont go above 20 on sensitivity and no need to ground balance on the sand
@@madmaxmetaldetecting119 well I use to live in Florida, still go down once a year to metal detect the beaches.. but I'm up here in Missouri.. the ground up here is just weird..lol I guess if you've been in sand your whole life then move where there is real dirt it's just different
@@19jody72 I live in East Tennessee and the soil here is weird to. Sometimes Multi-Frequency doesn't always work, good luck

Being a Minelab fan, I totally agree that the price is way too high. As you know we tried out the XTERRA and for under 3 bills it is awesome so far.... I swing the 800 and also see no reason to go to the 900 for a few more features. We have detectors all priced will under a grand and you are correct, they have all found good stuff.... cheers

The Manticor price is ridiculous. Now just to piss off Nokta, Minelab just released the Xterra Pro that they say is a Simplex killer. Price is $269.00. now why is the Manticor so expensive?? New sub!!!

I'm not a fan boy at all. I have an 800, a legend, a Deus 2 and a manticore, but It cracks me up you're doing this while wearing a minelab t shirt lol.
I love minelab, better than Garrett but im just hating the price of the Manticore
@Mad Max Metal Detecting about the only thing garrett I use is their pinpointer, and it's only used as a back up. I too think it was overpriced.

So is the price of the 700 and 900. Notice how you can still use the “old” coils. Nothing new there at all. Maybe a bit more recovery speed. Depth?!?! Looks like they are equal. Who wants to dig 14” holes all day long?
I agree completely. I paid 1K for my Nox 800 and I thought that was crazy. It's not the detector, it's how well you know the machine you have.❤️

That detector cover was sweet. I agree with you on the price on the manticore. I do think they price themselves out of a lot of customers. Like you said, swing whatever you like that finds the treasure
