I don't know about all of them but I can make my own bread if I have to, and I use dehydrated milk in a bag. That's very cost-effective. A little tip is Bisquick and that's the expensive too, but I learned how to make biscuits in a microwave. Takes a little trial and error and you got to keep an eye on it checking it to find out the right time to cook it.

I have been stocking more canned meats than fresh for the freezer. Why ? Well, if we do have rough times coming be it a major disaster or war, etc. the electricity most likely would be affected and I might lose it all. (if wartime, first thing to go would be all communication...electric again. T.V, computers, no re-charging anything and so on. ) Tuna, salmon, mackrel, corned beef hash and beef hash, vienna sausages, spam etc. etc.

This is a good list of survival items to have on hand. I would add having a reliable axe to this list. I always bring my Gränsfors Bruk small forest axe with me when hiking or fishing. In addition to carrying a reliable axe, I would include having a firearm. It can be something for self-defense as well as hunting small game for food like rabbits and squirrels in a survival situation.
