Awesome job!😅
It was a great day I hope to do it again soon 👍
This one is a bit confusing to me. I'm not 100% sure what your point is. The T4 line is not a graffiti "hotspot". It is no different to anywhere else in the state. Those freight trains you mentioned can only be painted when stationary, and they rarely will be within the confines of the T4 line. Chances are, this will be done at some port location where the train is stopped, or in regional freight yards. As for T54: first, a bit of physics. It was not hit in the rain, the paint just drips a bit because it in itself is a liquid. Look at every other painted train, they will probably all be the same. Second, I'm once again unsure of the point of this video, cause even if the train was hit by vandals in the rain, that really shouldn't matter, as either way there is still a need for added security, most likely in yards like the one at Cronulla where the train is stationary for a long period of time. I am really confused by what point you're trying to make...
Thanks ☺️ for the info and opinions, I agree with everything you said to be honest but it is really just about chance and percentages of what and when things will happen. What I’m trying to get at is for some reason, even though it is the same chance of this happening anywhere, it always seems to be happening more and seen more on the T4. So, I’m not sure how to reply to this, but it seems like you are more correct and have more info than I. According to 7news and 9news, security is weak and cases on the T4 are on the rise! The point of this video was to just give some facts about it, I believe that T54 was done in the rain because the paint on the silver graffiti was covered in water dots shapes actually detailed and forced into the paint and the ones with the black outlines and effects where faded and not finished. This could be from a lot of things but like I said it’s about chance. Appreciate the comment though and raising the thoughts and or questions. I’m always happy to reply and listen to others feedback and opinions. I also create these graffiti videos to see what people think about it and when I have nothing else to really create, there will be some videos coming soon to do with graffiti, but thankfully not anything like this video. The upcoming videos will include some info and why not to like it, do it or promote it. Anyway, I’ll leave it here! Like I said, you have more info than I do, and I respect that! I’m just glad that you replied in a friendly and respectful way, I have had some people in the past do the same but the problem is they happen to like it and try to convince me or other people it’s good and shouldn’t matter. Thanks for the chat and the comment in general! Appreciate it and everything else I said you have done.
@@SutherlandTrainSpotting That makes some sense. I should preface before I say anything, that I am not an expert on these topics at all, and rather just speculating. It is noticeable that there are more cases of graffiti (seemingly) on the Tangara trains, so this immediately hints to more cases on the T4. To analyse it properly, you have to consider the places where vandals would have the opportunity to damage trains. Tangara trains spend time at Cronulla yard, as well as Blacktown and Hornsby (and maybe Richmond) on the T1, which I'd guess are all places where criminals would be able to find access to the rail corridor if they wanted to. Waterfall as well, but I have no clue how secure that is. Most other types of rollingstock spend more time in major depots like Flemington and Auburn, which are further out of the reach of vandals. There's also the yards at Campbelltown and Liverpool, both of which I think have been upgraded over the years to cope better with attacks. It's also worth noting that these yards are not located right at stations, unlike Cronulla and Blacktown where people can easily cross the tracks from the platform to reach the trains. If you think about it, V and H sets also get hit by graffiti relatively frequently too, and this is likely because of the time they spend in yards like Port Kembla, Wollongong, Mount Victoria, Gosford, Hamilton; places like that. I'd assume there could be lower security or easy access in some of these places. So when you think about security, it's probably not surprising that you notice more of these occurrences on the T4. There's one more thing I just thought of. Given your channel name, I'd assume you live near Sutherland. If you are constantly observing the T4 line, you are going to notice more cases of vandalism here than elsewhere. I would expect that could be a part of it too.
Unfortunately the hotspot is not just the T4 line, EVERYWHERE IS THE HOTSPOT and to think the cops don’t care about this whole situation according to google you can go to jail and be in prison for up to 5 years unless your a minor (16 or under) then the most the cops can do is give you a slap on the arm, however in serious cases a small fine
Hey mate, You actually just gave me a great idea 💡! Why don’t I make a video on why graffiti is dangerous and bad in the CORRECT WAYS… this might assist some people in understanding a bit more about it and hopefully (if) any younger viewers are watching, why it is bad, dangerous, etc. Now, back to your comment, I agree and am thankful that NSWPF and TNSW (etc) can and are taking a bit of pride in putting a stop and or limiting the incidents to do with graffiti. However 5 years imprisonment is in an EXTREMELY CATASTROPHIC situation where more than the usual or suspected amount of damage is done. Half the time, even when over 16 (minor), it is a less imprisonment sentencing (IF THEY EVEN GET ONE) and quite often it is just a fine or something minor to represent a warning. But, I do appreciate you taking the time to watch the video at least, even though it is quite horrible to see it on Sydney trains! Freight trains are a bit more understandable for SOME occasions or people (IF THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING CREATIVE OR ARTISTIC LIKE A MURAL THAT POEPLE MIGHT ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND…) Anyway, chat more about this on Monday if you want? Enjoy your night mate! Thanks ☺️.
Why are you so into graffiti mate?
@@bencyone649 not so much into it, but I attempt to get a wider audience with whatever I can use as content, I actually hate it and paid the big price when I did do it. Graffiti often has colours that I look out for or a message, if it’s anything else I absolutely hate it! I can understand your opinion and I appreciate the comment and you sharing your opinion, as well as asking the question. If only the courts and justice systems would be more strict and care more! The conviction half the time does nothing and does not deter people from the acts. In case you haven’t heard, I nearly died and almost killed somebody in my defence as I didn’t realise at the time how much adrenaline was racing through me, thankfully no one did die or get seriously hurt! All of that happened because at the time I did vandalism and that included graffiti! Anyway, too much to talk about, but I hear you. Thanks 🙏 for the comments and chat.
@@SutherlandTrainSpotting I’m train crew for the freighters and we don’t enjoy seeing people in the rail corridor or condoning in graffiti. Good to know 👍🏼
@@SutherlandTrainSpotting It's a non-violent crime and it doesn't cost a lot to clean it off, I think the cops and the courts should care more about drug dealers and violent crimes, not some petty theft or vandalism, nice video anyway, much love from Bratislava, Slovakia.
@@bencyone649 I agree, and if you see me reply to comments and it sounds like it’s promoting the behaviour, I apologise for that as it shouldn’t and if it does, it is a mistake.

Limestone train
Thanks for the correction and I’ll look into it a bit more as I have always called them Blue Metal trains. I’ll be sure to change new videos to include that correct information. I gave you another sub too as I like the look of your content/videos!
Wrong it’s 42105 dum dum
Correct and the title of the video SHOULD have said that! I did try to change it but obviously it never changed for some reason!
If it costs them to clean it i dont mind paying it. Ive got all my high viz they should let me do a rail safe induction, i could paint Friday night, rail supervisor can check the art isnt offensive and let it run for the weekend and ill clean it off Sunday night that way the straighty goody goody people can have their clean trains through the week? If the add companies can pay to have their shit adds on trains and trams i should be able to as well. PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
I know bro, This needs to stop and people think it’s good. ITS NOT! Vandalism is also a crime!
Yeah 👍, you’re spot on! Unfortunately, I cannot deny myself being involved within the graffiti world at one stage. Thankfully that’s passing now! There is also some trends going around funded by social media (MAINLY TIK-TOK!) I have not been involved in the social media activities, thank goodness, but I have witnessed any crimes committed on TNSW Zane Sydney-Trains transport services, and when I told the authorities/train security or staff, all they did was say “ok thanks, but we have no power to take action unless there is evidence and or, police are involved or they were caught in the act!” The 4 kids had sharpie markers, tagging up all the walls and windows, and yet nothing ever happened to this day! There for I despise TNSW and SOME Sydney-Trains Services! But mainly all good! I think I’ll be posting a video soon like the graffiti one (this video), but with everything in the video being very realistic and the video will be created with some length of time! Thanks for the comments, I often enjoy responding and interacting with the channels audience via TH-cam comments and Community Posts!
@@SutherlandTrainSpotting Yeah man, You’re Welcome!
It is good. It's been going on for over 50 years now. Have you seen the legal metro trains done in Europe recently by Sofles and others. Looks cool and it's twice as neat and effort when it's done legally. Yeah it takes the thrill out but the older purist love trains, they don't want to smash windows or slash seats or run around the neighbourhood tagging your fence they just want to do a nice piece on a train because it's SUBWAY art that's where it belongs. We might have a new way of thinking but at least we won't force people to use pronouns or try tell you where some gender where not. We just want to do some art, it's PUBLIC transport.
