On my way to build at Burning Man, northbound Nevada state route 447 just below Nixon, NV. A flatbed trailer loaded with tubing wandered off the narrow 2 lane road onto the soft shoulder, flopped on its side and pulled the tractor over as everything went careening off the pavement in a plume of dust.
As the only vehicle following in the middle of the night, had to first ensure oncoming traffic in both directions didn't come slamming into my rig or the darkened wreckage ahead. Pulled my truck over to the side with hazards on and yellow/amber light bar, then approached the tractor with a large flashlight calling out to the driver and strobing at oncoming traffic in the distance.
The driver was uninjured and got him out through the upturned door. Once traffic was stopped in both directions and able to recruit some help from other motorists, we assisted the driver back into his cab to retrieve his phone and personal effects.
