Miss Marple Joan Hickson Opening and Ending (OP / ED) in 1080p (1440x1080)

From Blu-Ray. I believe Agatha Christie's Miss Marple (which the BBC produced, starring Joan Hickson) airs on PBS occasionally but I don't think they'll be doing so this year.

Watching him cook live must’ve been an experience for the ages. Like, my god
Michael Larson was a hustler!!! I don't care what anyone says.
EPIC 😂🎉
The best bit of this is right after Larson's big run, the other guy gets a whammy immediately. "NOOOOOOOO!!!" 😂😂😂
In a way, he did OD on money
Interesting to see in the closing credits that Kevin Whateley played a detective sergeant in this episode. Clearly getting in practice for his role as Lewis in Inspector Morse a few years later.
I dont see the problem, he learned the game and won...period
I'm here for the nostalgia of the 80s
Just like counting cards in black jack
Could he lose all the money at the end if the lady would press a whammy or what it is called 😆
Because I can't comment on the official, I will start here!! I haven't watched the full video yet. Janie!! I think YOUR, swollen eyes are creepy, You look like you just barely avoided downs syndrome!! Hold your tongue woman!!
Its like when you counting cards on Black Jack, same theory. Its not cheating but the house still didnt like it thou..
Who’s here because of William Ray Johnson’s story telling?
110,237 the highest money won that happens to be a prime number
I'm here because of Qxir
Vengo de The dolop y dios mio esto es mas epico de lo que crei
Interesting freeze frame of Michael smiling, while Ed got his down in shock and Janie got bottled up range with pretend clap haha
38:15 Michael puts the cue in the rack.
100% his ex girlfriend had something to do with the robbery. Anyone else catch the entitlement when she said, "Out of the $100,000, all I got was the five grand." Oh yeah, and she stole the last of HIS money and moved out.
Woman contestant AAF
Peter was sweating throughout that final round and possibly had trouble sleeping after he got home
Going first in the last round gave Michael the chance to showcase his knowledge of the big board from watching months of episodes of the show
To put simply, Michael did his homework
Will this be effective duringbthe zombie apocalypse?
God Rest His Soul... LEGEND!
He was sweating @37:30 when he had to face the board 3 more times. He nailed the 1st spin but his timing was off on the last 2 spins. Those were random and he's damn lucky he didn't hit a whammy.
At the end ... You can't come back next show (Peter) .... or EVER (CBS)
Qué recuerdos!!!
came for the show stayed for the commercials
Liverwurst on toast is much better if the toast is left to thoroughly dry out in the toaster.
No context preceded the "E-cup brassieres" jibe, the emcee just says random stuff.
hot, warm, or cold water?
This dude did NOT cheat in any way, shape, or form. He just had WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands!
He did cheat, it's just an iffy crossroads, to where is the cheating his fault. Not really, but it is unfair that he didn't play the press your luck/whammy board game the way it was meant to be played, so essentially he could have indefinitely kept going as he landed on a free spin space with the cash, but he played it off like all his spins were random, which was kinda jerkish. It doesn't matter as he and his girlfriend (which his girlfriend at the time he was on this show later left him, and even his own brother who later competed on the Todd Newton version of PSL with Ed and Janie, disowned him too so yeah) used his winnings to create a ponzi scheme/scam business, so that was nice of Michael to do that smh. But yeah. I mean I give credit for him knowing where the board spaces are, but still. It's still cheating in a sense. But yeah.
@@taralen1101 OMG!!! I did not know that. Interesting. So he did cheat & he had WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands.
Dollop????
NO TOLIET!
Sara's hair-do!😮
What was Gary's last name?
Helaine is rather intense 😬
I love how Della tells Dawson to keep it clean 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dawson was a keeper 😂😂😂😂
Gotta say. I much prefer Arlene Francis on What's My Line.
I remember those wrap around tops. Wore them with palazzo pants & platform shoes 💃🏽
Jack was wild about horses and horse races.
Richard was witty from the start
Mary decided...to have a little lamb 😂
Woo Hoo ❤ Michael Landon ❤❤❤
Apparently they've made a movie dramatizing the events of this whole incident, "The Luckiest Man in America". As of the time I'm typing this, they're set to screen it at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. Paul Walter Hauser stars in it as Michael Larson, and Walton Goggins plays host Peter Tomarken.
He studied the pattern, maintained his composure and so he earned it in my book. But man, these American shows make a lot of noise. I turned my volume almost down.
While I agree Michael isn't a scammer or cheater in THIS instance, he did unfortunately pull an actual scam later on, which resulted in him having to go on the run from the government
No he also cheated in this. I used to think Michael deserved a hat tip, similar to contestants remembering the prices of items on the Price is Right from previous episode. I don't consider that cheating. But this is clearly cheating, in the sense it's a price is right contestant removing labels/doors/buttons revealing that the answer is. Except Michael just remembered the spin rotation. This is cheating, and he got lucky people in the 80s weren't as tech/social engineering savvy as they are now lol. So much CBS aired a documentary that was also shown on GSN, in which the producers were torn whether or not he will get the prize money, as they knew damn well he was cheating, but they weren't a 100 percent sure how, and if he did it (which later we now know what his true agenda/method was), and it was only the fact Michael went to LA from Ohio on a bus, to audition for PSL at CBS, with twenty dollars to his name, and the suit he's wearing he bought at a thrift store across the street from the studio for five dollars (80s inflation lol), he passed all the pre-screening rounds, and they felt sorry for him and realized a guy in this situation couldn't be doing anything nefarious, and by the time he was awarded his winnings, it was too late for production to change their mind on allowing him to keep his prizes. It doesn't help that before and after coming on the show, he wasn't a man of valor, so much he and his girlfriend at the time he was on this episode, were doing scams and other ill gotten things, supposedly a family friend stole half his psl winnings during a burglary, and his girlfriend even ran away from him with their children so yeah. But I'm sure if a Michael Larson situation happened today I don't think they would be allowed to keep any winnings they got; but I think most people if they figured out a trick/code would if they were smart keep quiet about it. So yeah. Interesting game show controversy.
Imagine he was able to return every episode for winning. Dude would've harvested a million.
35:38 stop at a 4th whammy
