I think we're all being too hard on Lace (me included i have a comment on this video from earlier and i was calling lace out on how seemingly hypocritical she is) the knee jerk reaction is to be like rook know what they're doing why is Lace meddling/attacking their relationship but if I was dating an older dude I would want my friends to check in on things cause not every dude is as nice as Emmrich and I might be too head over heels to see it She's also concerned about him too cause he's mopey and distracted and one of those things could very much get him killed in a fight only thing she did wrong was she had no tact

It seemed thoughtless to me that you couldn’t choose your age in this game. Granted, every DA protag, except the Inquisitor, was pretty much railroaded into being a young adult. Before Veilguard though, I don’t remember being spoken down to or talked over like I was a clueless teenager (Except by Wynne. Wynne sucks)

And then there's Harding in another banter, being all "Rook's so young! You're going so fast" And Dardin'an(my Rook) always stops, turns, and chastises her "We're not going fast enough! Shut up!"

I wish they had Spite interrupt right before they’re about to kiss. He could be ridiculing Lucanis about how he isn’t good for her, how he can’t even fulfill their agreement, etc. Rook wouldn’t be able to see or hear him but she could tell something was wrong. THEM Lucanis would leave.

This is the first time I heard the human version with a romanced inquisitor. What I mean is my Rook was an elf so when the inquisitor said they called each other, Vhenan she instantly knew what the inquisitor meant and asked her, he really meant that much to you. I love how for the human version the inquisitor clarifies it means my heart not just heart. ❤

Wow that's better than if you're an Elf in the veiljumpers! The most my partner and I heard in this interaction was that we "lived in a town, before moving to Arlathan" to "join the Veiljumpers." Kinda sucks not knowing where I'm from for the first time in a Dragon Age game.

To prove that the writers weren't on top of their game, they could have included Emmerick as one of the companions can send off when you have to choose between Harding and Davrin. Can you imagine the feels if you selected him after that little conversation?

I didn't let him become a lich. I made him get Manfred back and face his fear of dying. This lich-thing feels incredibly wrong to me. Seeing him go in there and let himself get killed just to be brought back as this thing was heartbreaking to me. Never ever will I watch this ever again
