Not so bad but sadly you don't talk about with SSH Auth. There are some issues with the SSH-Keys and the port settings.
The big thing with this is port forwarding. Without this, you have to expose the inbound ports on your firewall to allow the proxy services. Cloudflare tunnels create a proxy service outbound to cloudflare so that you don’t need an inbound firewall rule.
Thank you, sir. I ran into the issue of trying to get files into it more than a month ago, and came back to the issue and found your video. It explains it a lot better. I'm extremely new to having a VPS so I'm just learning, but I knew that it was in its own instance, and bypassing that was not a secure way to do things, so I hit a wall. Thank you
Hola bro! Cuando estara el siguiente video? Gracias
Nice broooo
Nice tutorial. just subbed. would you mind sharing how did you setup Coolify with tls wildcard? the tutorial is too hard for me.
Hey there, I recommend watching this video: th-cam.com/video/Mvg624g_5zY/w-d-xo.html. It's about setting up payloadcms but he covers the part that you're talking about with setting up Coolify with a wildcard.
Thanks for the video! Can we get Novu next?
Hey there! Not sure, still need to go through the rest of Coolify services first
do you have to protect your endpoint or api when using this? or do you just spin this up when you want to use and then bring it down?
I found this gitlab issue gitlab.com/glitchtip/glitchtip-backend/-/merge_requests/21, basically you can use an environment variable to disable sign ups so other people can't sign up to your Glitchtip instance. Does that answer your question?
I am very impressed with the speed you are implimenting this channel, thats the way to go, get as many videos under the belt so when viewers discover you they have loads to watch.
I was heavily invested in some other Proxies, until I found this video, Nothing else works as good as CloudFlare "Maybe, LOL!" I was aiming in doing it today and voila it all makes sense, Thank you!
if you are already using traefik and have a public domain on coolify then there is no purpose for this tunnel? this is for like running coolify locally without traefik and then wanting to have a public subdomain to use? I am just trying to understand if this is useful if you are already running traefik for some purpose?
Thanks for this video. What is the right way to set a different username and password for the registry?
So edit the docker-compose file, and change the content of the /auth/registry.password volume. You can do this by generating a htpasswd locally. # Option 1: Output directly to console htpasswd -nbB username YourPassword # Option 2: Create/update a new file (so you have it saved) htpasswd -cB auth.htpasswd username The output will be something like this: username:$2y$05$rG7hqmFXWLD2Tg9cE5UhG.9ywp5BJ7QxA3ZIh.wzQKzXkQQ.7Jcvy Update the content of the /auth/registry.password before deploying and that should work. You can always ask ChatGPT if you have issues along the way but it should be straightforward though.
thank you so much for this tutorial, it was very easy to understand coz u explained very easy way. please make a video to how to deploy typesense on coolify, struggling here
Hey there, not sure I'll be making the video anytime soon, still got a lot of coolify services to cover first
Hi, can you do a video where you explain how to use Authentik with Coolify? I dont find any documentation on this topic :( I want to secure my docker container inside coolify. Thanks!
Hey there! Sorry for the super late reply, hope you were able to resolve your issue
version v4.0.0-beta.364 , by default terminal selected
cool
Hi! I have an error after deploying. When I hit the URL. I got below error. Could you please check? {"message":"The requested route was not found. Please refer to the API docs and try again.","code":404,"type":"general_route_not_found","version":"1.6.0"}
same here. have you found any solution
If you noticed, it installs on selfhostingeverything, not localhost. I think there is the same error in the dokploy system. It needs to be installed on a second server.
please can you make video on how we can deploy djnago or next js apps using docker?
Hey there! Hope you figured it out, I haven't tried this myself yet.
I still cant get it deployed, keeps restart looping on the main container. seems to ask for a wrongly configured URLCRYPT_KEY. and the sidekiq isn't even starting. Do you have any experience with that or a solution?
You might want to spend more time with the hosting aspect of the presented software instead of spending 25% of the video showing bad ways to load external variables into an application.
Calling your channel "Self-Host Everything" and then showing some single server container orchestration tool which allows you to run an app via click'n'play setup is a bit misleading. Like a video named "Self-host Argilla on Kubernetes" and installing it via a single Helm command. Anyway... this Coolify thingy seems awesome for small projects. I need that in my life. Thanks.
I understand the confusion. This is part of a series where I try out all of Coolify's services, I'll try to include that in the description. Cheers!
