I had a thyroid ultrasound yesterday because my neck is swollen, I’m constantly coughing, I have a lot of mucus in my throat, and it feels like there’s a lump. It’s harder for me to breathe, my heart is beating stronger, and my exercise tolerance has decreased, my legs are so tired. For the past two weeks, I’ve had a low-grade fever every day, and my neck feels stiff and sensitive, especially in the area where the ultrasound showed nodules. The ultrasound result was: In both lobes of the thyroid, there are isolated colloid nodules, so-called honeycomb nodules: 4mm and 2mm in the right lobe, and 8mm in the left lobe-no risk of malignancy. Vascularization is normal. No enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. My thyroid tests are normal, except for Thyroglobulin IgG, which is 8.1. What do you think this could all be? I’m very worried, and I can’t bear this persistent fever any longer.
