i see this and imaging a dragon/drake body filled out with wings outstretched overhanging the pontoons and a saddle/seat on the drakes back for you to ride on out on the water.
I have played with the idea that I could shape the sail a bit more like a dragons wing, its not the same but a similar effect to what you imagined
