We just took the cab off of the chassis on our 2001 Lightning. We’re in the middle of changing it from a 5.4 to a 5.8 Cobra.

It sounds just fine it’s actually rather quiet my mic pics up a lot of the sound but on the street and on track it’s a rather tame sound

@@BadMannerKorea lol have you heard a stock GR? Not to far off from this, except this exhaust gives it a deeper tone. The only reason it’s so loud (like previously stated), the car was mic’d. The only “illusion” present in this video is the loudness you hear through your phone.

The new lightning is way faster
And nobody that likes the original ford lightning looks at it twice. They suck, they're over complicated electronic and plastic garbage, and it's way cooler to make something that isn't as fast as it used to be faster. Slap a mildly built coyote in that bad boy and with the weight savings over the new Ford lightning itd dominate it.
That might be the case but you can’t deny the old lightnings charm.
