We just went recently and took a piece of paper with website on it to order. It won't let me get into website to order. So disappointed. We didn't want to wait in line because of all the people.

There use to be a Bass Outlet store & wine tasting. I think it was Cupcakes Wine that I enjoyed a bottle of. Going out of town there is a raised gazebo in a cow pasture (going toward Toccoia). It's an Indian Romeo & Juliet story of love in innocence. If you do get by there pull off at the marker & enjoy the sweetness of their story.

My great grandaddy was Sheriff Abernathy for the town of Helen, GA. My family has visited there since I was a child (64 now). My mom was born there! On Friday nights the men would come in from work & get plastered....Some would fall asleep in the ditches & grandaddy was known to say a time or two he had to go rustle up some boys in the ditches & send them on home......lol

My uncle Keith Yates has lived. in Helen since the mid 70's and still lives just outside of town. His wife owns a Bed and Breakfast there. I still love visiting there.

We were there for my Birthday 2016, is was the BOOM AT THE LORELEY RESORT. The Clean, two bed room townhouse made our stay a wonderful place for this birthday.
