Fujitsu FMV-KB211 | Typing Sound (3rd Gen Fujitsu Leaf Spring Linear)[ASMR]
Leaf Spring does not have to be stiff like Cherry MY or Smith-Corona
This keyboard made in year 2000 which I’m amazed that the Leaf Spring still being made despite the Fujitsu Peerless being existed in the 90s

This is a modern Cherry G81 release after 2012 (Windows 8 key shown here). The G81 is supposed to be a cheaper version of a Cherry G80 which uses Cherry MX but I find the Cherry MY to be stiff to my liking i mean is this 150g of force switches? Maybe Compared to a cheap rubberdome keyboard this is kinda better I guess and it's Made in Germany too. It is sound better than Cherry MX too

This is one of the very first keyboards marketed as a Gaming Keyboard even though there are an earlier keyboard with Superior Alps Switches like Northgate Omnikey or Leading Edge DC-2014. This is a rather quiet keyboard compared to some done with sliders keyboard. For a first gaming keyboard, it's kinda disappointing considering that in 2005 there were Cherry G80, Matias Tactile Pro, Topre Real...

This is even cheaper than a Compaq RT101 with NMB Dome with Slider, but it is still better than the cheap present-day keyboard. The sound is also wonderful too. yet again is why adding a dedicated slider to a membrane rubber dome keyboard changes people's lives.

This is how a cheap rubber dome keyboard should be. All it needed was a slider to make the keyboard sound less boring and feel better when typing too.

Now recorded with Rode Videomic Pro!!!!! This is the cheapest Mechanical keyboard I have ever own only $29 new. But there are sacrifices such as low-quality flickering backlight that can be seen on the camera and it is not RGB either (Only the side light is RGB). I actually don't care for RGB light or even backlight but it is the weird decision to have RGB light at the side only. The constructi...

This is how a cheap keyboard should be. Yes, the Mitsumi KPQ/KKR switch was considered a low-cost keyboard in the 80s/90s. The cheap alternative to a Mechanical Keyboard like Alps or even Mitsumi mechanical switches. Despite being a cheap keyboard, The build quality was awesome, as did the typing feels and sound. Modern cheap rubberdome keyboard are not even close to being this good and sometim...

This is my daily driver laptop mostly used outside the house. While this wasn't my best Fujitsu laptop to date (E5412A is my favourite due to the AMD Ryzen CPU being used instead of a crappy and inefficient Intel CPU). It's still fun to use compared to most competitors despite having kinda horrible battery life. The keyboard doesn't sound as rattle or clicky as the other laptop keyboard I heard...

This is my new daily driver keyboard that replaced Matias Tactile Pro 3 because I love the way this keyboard looks in fact it’s looks like Acer KB-101A. Having a complicated Alps switch makes it even better. The keyboard was in really bad condition when I got it. The stock keycap was a crappy thin pad-printed ABS that many had lost its letters so I replaced it with a better Matias laser-etched ...

My first keyboard I owned before I knew about Alps switches and I was being brainwashed by Cherry MX switch that they are the best switches in the world but I can’t afford it at the time I think NMB made one is better but I think Dell Quietkey NMB and AT101 are still a lot better.

I really like this keyboard, although the backspace key is quite small. I’m concerned about hitting the wrong key when correcting mistakes. Overall, it’s a beautiful keyboard.

Not sure why this keyboard is so loud like mechanical keyboard hopefully the sound level is still accurate just like in real life

I bought two a few years ago. One in stock, good condition(hasu converter) and one broken board(case was fine) with a custom mx pcb. Low both, the layout and the sound. Eyeing the 0110a for the num pad.

@@AndyK.1 Sounds like it's better since Silitek is more well known but I still need to find an SK-8115 or SK-8135 to find out. NMB made it a little better but they stopped using a dome with slider design so I don't think it going to be much better than Silitek

I remember these in middle school, and they still use them at public libraries. Satisfying to press a full sized backspace key! Medium sized enter key let's me reach with my pinky! Design is very corporate, feels like I can be productive with my day!

Hey I just dismantled one grey and one black version of these SK-8115) , and was going to swap some keys around to make the color scheme more old-school. Problem is that they are built differently. Could you pull off the long shift-key on yours, and tell me if it has a metal or plastic "helper" part?

I'm sorry I just got back to the keyboard again not too long ago. If you talk about the stabiliser it's always a metal

@@namichidigitalaudio On the black ones, yes.. The gray ones have plastic stabilizers. I was hoping that some black ones had plastic ones or vice versa. Was gonna swap some keys around. Thanks for the reply though.

Make sure your keyboard adapter is a PS2 to USB Active Converter like this one for example m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71EYT4W6IdL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg Adesso is the most reliable one The small adaptor like media.startech.com/cms/products/main/gc46mf.main.jpg will not work because it's just changed the shape but it didn't translate to USB language

"This is probably the last keyboard with Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches" So here's a pretty crazy fact about Fujitsu Leaf Spring, they are still in production to this day. A slightly different version of this keyboard was actually sold up until 2021, sadly it's limited to big Business to Business orders so we can't really buy them brand new or anything but it's pretty wild they are still in production even today.

Wow I just saw your comment and wow I did not know this at all. So many Fujitsu Leaf Spring video I saw on TH-cam so far is from either from 80s or early 90s. And I just discovered that mine is from year 2000 but I really would love to see a modern version of it I think they are great alternative to Cherry MX Red or Speed Silver gaming keyboard.
