Directors cut is different from theatrical
This is an interesting narrative about the fear of ostracism... if you can sit long enough to fight down your own immediate avoidance instinct and see that this is about more than these specific hats or their specific message, the hats are just an extreme example. Which is... difficult. The desire to NOT see you walk down the street wearing those hats was very visceral - it really would had been much easier on the nerves to close the tab. I'm not sure what I've gained from the experience. Thanks for making this film.

Another wonderful episode of "Stories Between Iran & America". I look forward to these little slices of your family that you share. My Mom love to take us kids (when out and about or on vacation) to visit different Churches, Temples, Places of worship and one that always stuck with me is The Baháʼí House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois. At the time I was 10 or 11 and the singing group Seals and Crofts had many popular songs on the radio like; "Summer Breeze", "Diamond Girl", and "Get Closer". My Mom made a point to let us know that "Jim" Seals and "Dash" Crofts where practitioners of the Baháʼí Faith. (she thought that was neat)
