A “dive” watch with 100m water resistance is an absolute joke.
Why is it so expensive, and what prevents the stealing of the safe. The safe can even cost more than what's inside.
I love the Piaget polo. Its simple, reasonably priced on the preowned market and beautiful imho.
The case of 44mm iwc pilot watch(IW389101) is not made of of ceratanium. It is rather ceramic. Both are different. :-)

The still back hides a beautiful movement, I chose a glass back Longines in preference!
Was about to buy this in the AD. Then tried setting the time. No hacking! Unbelievable for the money they are asking. Even £200 Seikos have hacking. So you spend 6K on a watch and there is no way to set the time accurately. Only Panerai. Beautiful but deeply flawed. No sale.
Without a clear case back, I am skeptical now of any claims to having an in-house movement if I can’t see it. No thanks. They’ve lost trust with the market claiming the eta movement in the chronos are in house.
Lots of Swiss brands push the “in-house” lie, not just Panerai.

Never understood the appeal of Panerai. It looks tacky and bulky, makes you look like a child from a cartoon.
Have you tried one on? I have a decent collection including the Rolex GMT and an awesome Cartier Santos but for some reason my two Panerai watches get the most wrist time.
