Kayaking from Tynemouth to Sleaton Sluice on Sunday 27th October 2024 - we did the return leg on the same day but that will feature in another video. Forecast was for sunshine, clouding over and then rain in the evening. Wind of 8mph gusting to 20mph (3bft - 5bft) W turning to SW. Sea swell of 0.4-0.6m with a time period of between 4 and 11 seconds.

Lovely walk from Helwith Bridge to Pen-Y-Ghent, then down to Hull Pot before heading to Horton in Ribblesdale and along the River Ribble to Helwith Bridge. Sunday 13th October 2024

Yorkshire Sea Kayakers Social Paddle from Boroughbridge Riverside Parking (6pm on the water) to Westwick Lock and Back. The return leg was too dark to film. The river level was slightly higher than normal at 10.53m which meant there was a lot of flow at the weir - too much to play in, especially in the dark.

Having camped on Piel Island overnight, chatted with the King and drinking his beer it was time to get off and paddle back across to Roa Island. We couldn't resist paddle round the island in the conditions. In fact we did it twice because the downwind surfing was good fun. Sunday 29th September 2024
