      Spiritual awakening is biggest milestone in this JOURNEY, but the JOURNEY (atleast of this lifetime)still continues. Buddha termed this as "Nirvana". While "Parinirvana" is the state entered after death by someone who has attained nirvana during their lifetime. After attaining Nirvana too since we are living in earthly plain under the influence of Maya, we are still susceptible to various vices like spiritual ego, illusion.

    What’s the difference between Religiosity & Spirituality. Religious relates to being ritualistic, his/her exterior testimony appears good. Example: A Hindu offering pooja, says mantras, slokas, not eating non-veg on certain days, visiting various temples, etc. A Christian reading bible, attending church, singing praising God, participating in church activities. Spirituality: Irrespective of Hindu, Christian or any religion. The word ‘Spirit’ are the inner most values of person. They are Godly and without sin. Example: He/she will examine self and repents for his/her sinful nature. No cheating, no lies, no lusting, not greedy, not loving money, no gossiping, peace making, not holding grudge, no ego, no anger, forgiving (not an eye for an eye..), being generous to the needy without announcing, pay taxes, loving every human being irrespective of religion caste or creed.

    Simple question - Are you aware in your deep sleep ? Upon realization, the person would not exist as individual "I". That person simply became Presence.. If anything has to happen through that presence it will happen, if not - it will be just be!

    • @BeingPeacefulOrg
      @BeingPeacefulOrg 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In deep sleep, there is no “you” but the awareness in its pure state, witnessing the absence of sensory objects including mental impressions. The person upon realization lives without a sense of separate self as presence but that does not necessarily change the old patterns. The person knowing his illusory existence as mind-body complex suspends Doership and let things be the way they are. So to answer your question, there no “me” aware of anything in deep sleep but the pure presence aware of its awaring nature.

      @@BeingPeacefulOrg Here are some conversations and examples: Major Chadwick: Bhagwan are you aware when you are in deep sleep? Bh: Yes. M.C: You say you are aware, but we see you snore in deep sleep. Bh: I am aware of the snoring, and enjoy the snoring, if I don't enjoy it I would stop in that moment. Bhagwan was always left accessible to anybody even in the early mornings of 2:00, 3:00 when he is fast asleep. However, when a devotee comes for his/her problem, Bhagwan knew that person inside out. Bh never placed his body flat while he slept, half reclined posture only. Bh would simply open his eyes, "Yes I am here, what help you need" Bh said I am neither in the dream state, waking state.. those states are in me. Another enlightened being I would quote here is Papaji, yes, devotee of Bhagwan was also questioned on this, and he would say I have never slept.. Another Enlightened being, devotee of Bhagwan. Prof. N.R Krishnamoorthy Iyer, when that happened, - His awareness was NOT only to his body, but awareness of this whole existence itself. Where countless bodies/beings, any manifestations just appear and dissappear in that awareness. that individual sense gone, just remained in that state of awareness. I do get that awareness Turiyam we are referring to is pure witness, not achieved through any sensory. But here the awareness was not localised at all to one specific body, rather it was this whole existence itself
