The River Trap
Epoxy river tables are so 2015. River rat-traps are the new hotness.
Walnut + epoxy resin & pearlescent mica powder for the body. The trigger plate (aka where the cheese goes) is maple, with a custom formed copper sheet for the release bar receptacle. The spring and bar were pulled from a regular trap, and the staples were all re-made from copper rod for better looks and consistency. 3.5” x 7” x 1/2”. Yes, it really works. No, I haven’t really used it.
Is it a metaphor? Of course it is. Everything is a metaphor.

The Laboratory Lamp

A lamp I built that uses an Erlenmeyer flask as its shade, bringing the "aha!" theme of the light bulb and the iconic symbol of chemistry and science together as functional decor. Like it? I'll make you one: www.etsy.com/listing/268627384/the-laboratory-lamp More on this project and others: www.hahabird.com Please follow and share!

PONG Halloween Costume
มุมมอง 4.2K10 ปีที่แล้ว
A quick and easy Halloween costume inspired by the classic video game PONG. The sound effects were added to the video; you'll have to make your own while you wear the costume.

I would have just broke the drill bit off in each of the holes instead of using brass. Haha!

How cool!! I would love to see this in action on a large piece of paper with tons of different colors, or a monochromatic of blues or reds...I've always been fascinated with the Spirograph, great job!

This is clever! Have you thought about marketing how to make one of these? This post needs a link back to your blog.
