What a Mess!!!
มุมมอง 2202 หลายเดือนก่อน
I left my smoker uncovered and it got rained on. I had pellets stuck in my hopper, and I had to take the thing apart to clean up before I could cook. [Spoiler at 4:19]

There are many things you can do with leftover BBQ...Pizza is a great idea!
Slow Smoking Picnic Roast (Pulled Pork)
มุมมอง 853 หลายเดือนก่อน
The picnic roast is a smaller cut of meat than the pork shoulder or pork butt and is a great option when you don't need so much food!
Slow Smoking a Pork Butt
มุมมอง 484 หลายเดือนก่อน
I slow smoked a pork butt in my backyard for a birthday party we had at the house.

Tasting Pliny the Elder Extract Kit
มุมมอง 3592 ปีที่แล้ว
The day has finally come to taste this Pliny the Elder extract recipe from MoreBeer (DME kit). This recipe was straight from Russian River Brewing Company, according to the package.

Looks so good! I was looking forward to how the corn turned out. I need to try that!
It was perfect! You definitely should
Thanks for sharing 🍻
Thanks for watching!
How did it get gummy?
I left it uncovered in a rain storm
Look at that drip bucket😂😂😂.
Yeah, sad
Looked pretty good I'm going to have to pick up one of those fat separator things.
Bro super glad your back! Looking forward to some BBQ stuff.
Glad to see another video! BBQ and Home Brew go hand in hand. Cheers!
I enjoyed your video, you hit on something that is important get it together before you brew so your not chasing your tail causing you stress. This hobby is supposed to be fun, if your not enjoying yourself go to the store and buy a overpriced 12 pack and chill. Also you can brew a 5 gal batch that takes no more time than a 1 gal batch. Keep on doing what your doing, I laughed when you said that son of a bitch is hot. 😂
🍺
Thanks Are Really Like the information
Dude, are you a salesman? All I want to do right now is drink beer.
Name it Paul Bunyan
Wouldn’t it be called a loger beer?? Get it? See what I did there?
Nice experiment
Why don't you turn off the heating element when you add the ingredients?? Nice You must have a very good New Year. Cheers
How long did you ferment it
2 weeks
I like how high you drain the wort into primary, adds more oxygen into wort so the yeast will be very happy!
cool - I will say, i believe I could out perform beer makers as a legit chef. Caseroleo is no good compared with care.
Great vid, thanks for the visualization of how it's done.
Cool brew! Do you have a clone recipe for Big Wave? Thanks
Sorry it's taken so long to reply. I do not have a clone for the Big Wave. I really wish I had a clone for Kona's Island Colada Cream Ale.....
@@brewcephas thanks if you ever do would you share it with me? Thanks
I dinked my phone with my beer with out even thinking about it when you said cheers and brought your glass to the camera 😂😂
also curious how it turned out. My buddy taught me how to homebrew in maybe 2006. It was good times just drinking beer and making beer. I was thinking about starting again, but on a smaller scale like the 1-3 gallon range. I still have all of my equipment so i am ready.
It turned out really good! I was very impressed
Hey man around what time after you pour the wart into the bucket do you add the dry hopps (ignore bad spelling)
Just at the end of fermentation
The instructions for this kit are bad thanks for taking the time to make this video which will help me incredibly on my brew day.
Love your vibe bro!! Informative video, can't wait to start my first batch of homebrew.
Thanks! Have you made one yet?
Love your videos bro, I’ve been binge watching them all day
Awesome vid! Think I'm going to try this for my first brew
How did it turn out? Looks like you're taking another long break. Hope you're doing well!
Hey man, thanks for sticking with me. I'm about to get the brewery thawed out from the long winter!
Great vid
Keep it up buddy
I did that kit about 4 months ago. It's a really good sipper
just no, thats all i can say, no
Is it the Bud light?
I'd like some input
Our ancestors didn't go to the doctor for "rotator cuffs" either.
Cheers friend we just subscribed after your video found us . We love to home brew beer grow hops, make mead and wines and others on our channel . Stay thirsty .
Love your channel! Thanks for the sub. Cheers!
I want to see a golf and beer video. Drink a different beer at each hole.
So like 9 beers in an hour and a half?? Probably can't do 18 in three hours
Here in Oz we don’t have most of the beers you bring to 24oz Tuesday, but I come here for the chat and the down time. Keep it up mate.
1:41 oh that’s why
If you ever get a hint of cream corn in your final bottled beer it may be DMS from boiling covered vs uncovered. Most brew pubs and microbreweries I’ve visited try to drive this off with at least some opening in the top of their kettle!
I do this now! Thanks for the tip
A couple of extra likes mate. 👍👍👍. Your videos instantly relax me and make me want to go ‘chill” in the shed with a beer. Not ideal at 7am though. Keep it coming.
I appreciate you. Cheers
Chuck a floating dip tube in there so it draws from the top.
Thanks!
Dale's Pale Ale is one of my favorite beers also. I've been looking at doing a clone recipe found on the American homebrewers association site but it's an advanced recipe that I haven't felt like tackling yet.
That's understandable. Of course if you want to get as close as possible to the original, you'd have to do more things than I did in this video. I've never paid much attention to water chemistry, but you would probably need to in order to get closest to the real thing. Cheers!
ρɾσɱσʂɱ 😃
I brewed the extract Pliny from morebeer a few months ago. It turned out great.
Man that's great news. Can't wait
this channel is too high quality to only have 6 subss
Lol apparently we are covered in yeast.i just collected some wild yeast to use for distilling ,my traps just started bubbling..... wonder if I can leave a peace of wood in my mash and just take and use it to impregnate my next mashes, just storing it in the fridge between mashes 🤔
It really is crazy. And I wouldn't worry about the fridge, honestly, for storage. I think the wood would be better off out where you found it, then just re-use whenever you want
Brewcephus strikes again with another thoughtful installment. Sorry about your loss. My grandma passed away a couple weeks ago. Her passing kinda reminded me of what’s important.
Sorry, man. I didn't know that
For your pump clogging problems. I use a hop spider and rice husks. If the pump does clog I shut it off and then restart. This clears the clog for me.
Thanks for the comment. I need to get a hop spider (already have rice husks). I just recently went to clear out the pump after brew day by putting a running garden hose over the hole in the bottom to shoot water through, and I ended up busting one of the hoses that connects to the pump inside the system. So now I'm waiting for the replacement part. Cheers
