I just got the retro-bit LegacyGC Wired Controller and the Y button feels a bit stuck.

You need an analogue stick to play it so no sadly.

Does the d pad (before changing the macros) function as the dpad or left stick analog?

Can you explain the mod spawn wave does he says it so fast and doesn't show a close up. I did the same thing and put a snes D pad but didn't realize you still gotta do more. I wasn't happy after putting the D pad in but I must have not been paying attention when he said he modded the D pad.

Sure! Make sure you're using the membrane from the SNES controller. What he meant by modding the D-Pad is literally taking a knife and cutting chunks off the SNES D-Pad mold to help it rest in the slot where it's supposed to go. Look closely at his video and you'll see that its been cut. If I remember correctly, the SNES D-Pad mold around the cross is bigger than what came with the Old Skool controller. Mine didn't come out too too well per se. Example, the down and right directionals don't feel as clicky as left and up, but they work really well regardless.

@Pistachio Live ok finally got around to trying it myself I opened the old skool controller and right away I saw the issue, how the heck did I not notice this before 🤦‍♂️ I didn't want to risk using a knife I'm too heavy handed so I took sand paper and evenly sanded down the D pad all around. And Jesus Christ, what a difference!!!! Wouldn't have done this without watching your review. I originally was unhappy with the controller and just put it away in the closet. Thank you for giving me that kick in the butt to get it done. Now I like the old skool more than the legacy controller.
