This video is so dumb
@@JusstyteN What do you think would make it better?
@@auzziebear its just stupid, why would i use t1 and precraft some shit, just use t2 and precraft meds if you really need to. this wouldnt work for a solo this would be useless for a clan. unless you wanna spend2 days making it while primlocked while i roam aks
@JusstyteN Yes, for most playstyles, this wouldn't be feasible. However, I use it all the time, so I thought I'd share. I did also post a T2 & T3 version. There are also many modded servers where this may be useful, and perhaps some part of this design inspires an entirely new concept for someone else. I don't mind if any of my ideas fall away into obscurity, but it doesn't hurt to share them in case someone finds it useful.
I've tried this, rebuilt it twice. but the "checks" conveyor is not passing power through. Is there something else needed? I've also had to add in a final conveyor to pass explosives back to small storage box.
Anyone else notice the change in voice at 11:58? felt strange to listen to
@xxmightywhitexx1307 Sorry about that 😅 I'd had a lot of trouble recording the last bit and was getting super tense and anxious, so I stopped for a few days. Ended up mellowing out a lot, and the energy didn't match, but I was just mentally checked out on this project by then.
@@auzziebear Ah makes sense, it just threw me when listening along and building at the same time.

How are there ads on this vid? Don't you need 1k subs for monetization?
@DOIKDAME I'm not monetized, YT's just being a putz.
@@auzziebear oh dang I didn't know they could do that, that's messed up
@@DOIKDAME Yeah, if a video has enough views, they try to capitalize on it, even if the creator isn't monetized 😕
WTF!
What bloody wizardry is this. I thought Rust was a PVP survival game, not Satisfactory!
@@gymkhanadog It's even more fun once you mix the two 😉
Had no idea you could make explosives without a mixing table.
The mixing tabe isn't that old tbh compared too rust it self
its cool don't get me wrong but my thoughts its a waste of time and scrap
@@user-qc5te9wk1s That's alright, I'm starting to realize my playstyle is vastly different from everyone else's 😅
followed exaclty and my alarm doesnt change the switch
Does it toggle the memory cell properly? (lights switch between green/green & green/red) If not, ensure there's 2 power going into the clock and it's connected to the toggle node. If so, check there is power coming out of the mem cell, and that one output is connected to the Switch On node, the other to the Switch Off, and try two alarms, set at least 6 IRL seconds apart (2min for day time, and I think 10min for night(?)).
"So much room for activities!" Haha, I love that movie!
wow. thank you. that was really in depth.
this was very helpful. totally thought i could auto craft rockets, as in auto craft the explosives, then the explosives get automatically crafted into rockets. the sort system showing what can be crafted using the same materials really cleared that up. That being said, is there a way to auto craft explosives, and then use those crafted explosives to automatically craft rockets?
@@andrewkinser9426 Check this video out: th-cam.com/video/7fkn6m9Cif4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vC3uTFe9_i5tHnA1 You can simplify it a lot if you just want to craft the rockets and not make any C4
nah i set this up for dbs my neighbour is bouta get his BACK blown OUT
im so confused ive set this up exactly the same and it still doesnt work for the automatic lights
Ty for the video, bro ❤❤❤❤❤
did you ever get that circuit on ructrician? I'd love to have a tinker with this!!
I started to, but the electric update came out before I finished and I haven't revisited it yet to adjust for all the changes 😅
@@auzziebear All good! I'm enjoying the process of figuring it out actually and I'm only now realising how much of a mission revisiting this would be for you. hahaha. Thank you for sharing this video. Huge inspiration.
@BackpackChickun I'm about halfway through rebuilding it (again), and I'm realizing how much I left out of the video 😅 I'm making the wiring easier to follow and shall do a much better job of explaining this time! 😆
Looks Great! But we seem to have an issue with the system check end of it. the timers activate and power the system check conveyors but the conveyors don't output any kind of signal power (pass or fail) when the conditions are met so that it triggers another craft. Thought it was a server issue but a friend build the same system on a different server with the same results. Other then that it works great!
@cptjimmy15 Do you have 2 power going into each one? 🤔 And the timers are set for 5 seconds?
@@auzziebear yep! its the weirdest thing it was kinda working. then wasn't following my servers restart. then it was working intermittently where i would have to spam the top timer till it kicked on. When i was trying to diagnose it what i noticed is the timers would power up the system check conveyors with 2 power but the conveyors themselves wouldn't do anything. not power on nor send any pass/fail signals. I could manually activate the pipe/ tech trash conveyor and craft that way.
Built it again on build sanctuary with a similar result. sometimes it worked fine but then sometimes stopped randomly even when it has the mats. maybe a server tick thing?
@cptjimmy15 That is odd. I haven't encountered that before. If the conveyors aren't turning on, make sure the passthrough is plugged into the turn on node. If still not, try adding a branch from the timer, with 2 power to the conveyor, and 1 to the turn on node (3 total out of timer). Then double check the filters are set to buffer (desired qty), and require all. Top (first) system check conveyor should be whichever item is made from your first input conveyor's filtered resource. If you still run into problems, I'd probably have to take a look lol. I'll have some time tomorrow night if that's the case.
@cptjimmy15 Also, double check your power. Just to make sure it's not all due to not plugging in a combiner or something (has definitely happened to me before lol)
Dude I gotta say you have this skill of know how to explain things. I understand and followed along all processes with no problem. I think you should main focus and this topics, how to make this and that in rust. Can you make a video like this one on how to make clone gods?.
@gtsport3881 I'll add it to my list for sure. In the meantime, check out this video, it's what I use most often th-cam.com/video/m9y6ACVQR-M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=adiiXr4GNLvqHlHp

thx for the rustrician circuit, it helps a lot (to rebuild step by step) .. i build very simple crafters and tried some complex (BP switching) but failed miserable 😁 I didn't invest much time in bug fixing either 🤣I simply still have too many gaps in my knowledge regarding industry and water ...

this concept would be much more useful going from t2 to t3, im gonna keep it real here, i have never crafted a tier 1 item after i unlock t2 apart from pants and pistol ammo, who in the right mind would set this up with a t1😭
Just wanted to say that this series has been incredibly helpful to me as a noob and I am really grateful you made these videos. Please keep up as long as you find it fun to make them, since there is literally nothing just like it on youtube - very concise, thought out and well portioned short videos that together create a structured and engaging learning environment. Definitely gonna highly recommend entire playlist to my friend once he comes back to Rust next month, have a good day!
The electrical is too confusing, I just use it for lights and turrets maybe a furnace They need a tutorial with the game like the old days of physical games, so many player made one on line that just confuse me more.
I agree, an in-game tutorial would go a long way to help players. In the meantime, I've been working on a series dedicated to helping beginners understand the basics and work up from there. I'd love if you gave it a look! th-cam.com/play/PLLNinEbXU1un1fNpxyz2iO1tLoKbJPGYY.html

Rust becoming Minecraft more and more
I would like to see you do this in an active base. So basically I want to see it in action while people are trying to mess with you or you are trying to survive. The base we build in action is usually not wide open. So I would enjoy seeing how you would build it on a vanilla server
@@alfonsoPina I need some more hard drive space for recording full playthroughs, but I'll put something together for you

I like to do industrial and electric tinkering in rust. I have to say especially the photos and logics at the end are superb. If you do any similiar content again, defenitly keep these "core"-picture! Great vid
Why is this video is titled like a 5 Minute Crafts video
What the actual hell 😂 Im still figuring out how to raid bases properly and people doing stuff like this? I need to break into more bases and pay attention to the designs people come up with.
The goat
I set this up in my base with my trio they were so confused that I did this they don’t even understand the piping and when i make a industrial smelter they are so mesmerized it’s so funny
probably shouldnt connect to main power, to spread out power and reduce vulnerability, i have many independent batteries. Battery for compound, maybe split up into north and south, roof, roof backup, sams, furnaces and instustrial furnaces and industrial may only require a couple solar
@dominicweaver4905 That's valid 🤔 I mostly meant running it from a NiH core, but for smaller systems, you definitely could make it independent instead
I wish they let you use chron format so it could be set to do something every x minutes, hours, etc
@@William0271 This would be so nice
